Well... just returned home after my first trip to Waco. I can say the weather was great! The terrain will take some getting used to though. Nothing like up here in Washington State. The folks were nice, at least the real Texans, met some of the imports who were the same as they are here. To be expected I suppose. Finding a place to lease that was decent is being problematic, but finding a place to buy will be easy enough as soon as we sell our place here. It was a only a 3 day trip and two of those were mostly traveling. The company sure could give us some more time to find someplace I wound think, but it is what it is. I don't like the idea of leaseing a place before I can see it thats for sure. So much to do in so little time. Funny how life can change sometimes.

    Cheers!

Glad to hear you're pre-moving experience was good.

You're definitely moving at the right time of year. It's great.

    Good luck on everything!

Not too worried about the summer. I've spent a fair amount of time in the desert heat in a tank, don't think it can be worse that that. I'll be fine, the wife on the otherhand, thats a different story. Good thing there is AC!

    Cheers!

Now that's funny...Uh your not going to believe the difference in dessert heat and Waco/Dallas-Ft. Worth area heat! The dessert is dry whereas here when it's hot your Tshirt better not be white or those nipples are gonna bleed right thru! A wet tshirt contest should never involve man boobs!!!

Anyhow I'm glad to see your move is looking a bit more positive for you and your family. I recall you weren't too excited about Texas, but your coming around. After a few months, you won't want to live anywhere else!
