Wild dreams that stick with you after you wake up

Do you ever have a crazy dream that sticks with you after you wake up? I mean the ones where you wake up and lay in bed for a half hour until you realize your really not 'in that place' of the dream?

Last night, I had a dream that I was on break at my old high school. In back of a girl leaning against a planter was a sachel that I took. While walking away, I opened it to find coins and about $50K. I hid it in my backpack at my classroom. At lunch, I very big guy sat next to me and asked me if I knew anything about the sachel. I played dumb. He said if I find it, I need to return it to him.

At home that afternoon, he showed up at my house. We went into my bedroom where we shot baskets with oranges up over the window curtain rod. He sacked out on my brothers bed and when I woke up, he was standing over me tapping his toes! At that time I woke up for real, I had to lay in bed for about 15 minutes to shake off the dream to realize none of it was real.

I get these about once every three months. Just crazy!

 

I've had dreams where something happens to make me really upset with my girlfriend and I've woken up and been grumpy with her before I realized it was just a dream

 

yes they are scary.. except when you get to ride in Ferraris!

 

Isn't it weird that sometimes, reality matches your dream spot on? I've had dreams where I felt stomped over, and it was actually the big dog who had sneaked in the room. Other times you're dreaming that the phone is ringing ... and it actually is. Weird.
The dream I often do, and remember ... is when I pull awesome 2mph wheelies going around the house on some crotch rocket standing on the rear wheel.
Other times, I have bad dreams ... but I don't care caus I realize I'm asleep. Weird to think you're asleep ... while you actually are sleeping!!!

 

So Peter... you have some information and are possibly being accused of something? What's the parallel in the personal life?

 

The ones that stick with me are always about Ferraris, and driving them down windy mountain roads, when I wake up I think I still have a 355 in my garage but to my dismay it was all but a dream.

 

HAH! I knew somebody would try to disect my dream! Nope, I'm sqweeky clean! About five years ago, I found $6K in a bank deposit bag at a payphone that belonged to a soda vending company. I called the supervisor. They picked up the money from my house and delivered me ten free cases of Diet Coke!

Maybe your conflicted about your decision to return the money. It seems in your dream your struggling between right and wrong. Dreams are great places to play out scenarios to yourself.............. ok another with that tell us more about the girl............LOL

BTW- you throw out a dream......... of course people are going to try and interpret it.......

 

I had an ODD dream last night.

I have not emptied Pip's (my cat) litter box in a few days. I noticed a lot of cat turd in it last night. I then dreamt that Pip was scooping the poop out of his box with his little paws, and then putting the little rock-speckled logs into my coffee cup.

This was a real dream. Very strange.

 

interpretation: you feel guilty for not picking up after other people's ****!

ohhhhh ... wild dreams that stick with you, was about to answer to wet, lucky i put my glasses on.

 

I had a loo-loo last night! Some lawyer comes to my door. After opening my front door, he introduces himself as representing an old girlfriend. In his arms is a DVR player, a picture and an old stereo receiver. He tells me he is returning the items at the request of an ex-girlfriend I recently broke up with. After some idle chit-chat, he asks me for a 'small check'........Hu? He replies with "Only eighty dollars for my delivery, that's all FOR THIS LOAD"! THIS LOAD I said? With a reply of 'yes", he tells me this is how he makes a living!

I woke up before writing him a check!

 

odd to see this post. last night i had a dream so vivid i woke up shouting "don't move" and i had drawn my pistol from it's holster in the headboard. freaked me out.

 

And you are safe to sleep with?

 

I had a dream a few months back that I was older (probably in my thirties from what I could tell) and was outside a house (mine I guess) waxing a niiiiiiiiice collection (including an Enzo, 360CS and F355 Spider) of all red Ferraris. All of the sudden the 18 year old version of myself (my age now) walks up and says "So I guess you got what you wanted, huh?" and I said "Yeah I guess." and then my 18 year old self says "That's good. Just don't become an ******." I have NO clue what that means and I never told anybody about it. Not even my parents; I didn't think they would believe me.

 

12 years ago, after I took the bar exam and came back home to work, in my dreams every night I would relive all 200 multiple choice questions, and the sick thing is that the questions were not new or crazy questions, but I could repeat verbatim when I woke up all the situations and the questions. This went on from August until the week before Thanksgiving when I finally got my results back and found out I had passed.

I will also have very vivid dreams about things that will be said in work meetings, and those very statements will be made in a matter of weeks.

 

haven't shot anyone...yet

 

lol, I had one of those last night. I woke up thinking "I HATE YOU" and almost kicking him off the bed before I fell asleep and forgot about the dream.
