They don't allow pictures, but you don't know that do you? They should think of it like a bit of free advertising...
Ah okay so that's what I saw in Sai Kung thinking it was a Chevelle. The Ford Falcon GT is that I saw is white. Perhaps same owner?
Followed a beautiful blue AC Cobra with white stripes down Magazine Gap road this morning. Didn't manage to grap a photo unfortunately. I'm no Cobra expert so I don't know if it was an AC or an AC replicar...just saw the "AC" badge on the rear. Beautiful day to drive a classic open car like that, anyone know how many there are in HK? A handful? Several dozen? This is only the second one I've seen in 10+ years in HK.
Not sure if that's the one, but looks exactly the same - same roll bar, same color/stripe, same wheels. Pretty car.
There's a red one that gets about too. I have seen it around Kowloon Tong and Choi Hung. Prety sure one of our HK Fchatters knows about that car.
Spotted on Sat night, after the rugby in Tsim Sha Tsui http://i1005.photobucket.com/albums/af179/cjsphotos/P1010865.jpg
There is one real Cobra in HK which rarely goes out and about 5 replicas which range from pretty mediocre kit cars to high-end Cobra inspired hot rods. It is now rather difficult to get them licenced in Hong Kong so I doubt there will be many more. Mine is blue with white stripes and has the plate AC 427. It is on the road a lot at this time of year
From that angle of the 458 I see shades of Jim Glickenhaus' P4/5, especially if it had been in red with black roof.
Oh, the 458 looks gorgeous in white. Nice spot! Here's a black one from Saturday. I'm thinking pretty soon these will be a regular sight - and that's a good thing! http://www.flickr.com/photos/48817379@N03/5132085656/
I went to SMD last weekend together with a friend. We arrived at aorund 8:15am at Luk Keng and had a look at the cars there. When we arrived only the 308 GTS was there, the rest arrived a couple of minutes after us.
