I think Alonso could be the next FI champ...never thought it would happen this year.
Everyone else seems to be falling apart under the stress...
    ...not him.

    I agree.

Webber and Vettel don't seem to be aboe to get their act together.

Hamilton would seem to be less rattled. Button always seems cool as a cucumber.

It's certainly possible, and he's got the momentum right now. It's still early to say though, a lot can and will happen. I've got a feeling he will though :)

The way this season has been crazy with different drivers having momentum and its going to go down to the last race.......

....where Chandok will be crowned WDC with a come-from-behind final bit of moment, all while not driving a car! :D

With two races to go its anybody's guess between the top 3, but sure would like to see Alonso bring home the gold. Can't help but think the safe money is on either RB driver however.

EFA. I don't think Vettel blowing his engine from well in the lead has anything to do with him not having his act together.

The presure is off Vettel now. When it was on earlier in the season, he was a mess...no control over his emotions. There were to many oppurtunites he let slip through.
It seems like he enjoys driving now...You can see in his eyes he is now hungry to prove a point. Still think they left the door open to long for Ferrari.

Alonso has rocked since he joined F1 and drove the wheels off the Minardi.

Then he developed the pig of a Renault into a two times WDC winning car dethroning the mighty MS in the process.

Wins his first race at Ferrari and now has a realistic chance at winning the title for the Scuderia in his first year.

    Forza Fernando!

PS: There is no shame in joining the Alonso fanclub even if you didn't think he could do it.

Very goods points as always, Andreas!

Fernando has done VERY well his first year with the Scuderia!

I like his fighting spirit, he didn't give up on the championship halfway through the season even though he was in a slower car. He kept fighting and picking podiums when he could. He has hardly put a foot wrong...

Just kind of wish Massa's victory wasn't taken away...still feel bad for Massa, it would have been a fantastic recovery almost a year to the day after he was almost killed...

Agreed. That racing incident, which could have happened to anyone (just ask Alonza), didn't even factor into my comment.

No a fan of Alonso, but you cannot deny what he has done this year. He's had a great year by any standards considering the shape the car was in at the begining of the year. I know it's a team sport and everyone is responsible for the teams success, but this year, I think Fernando should take the bulk of the credit. He is over performing in the Ferrari.

I am disappointed in Massa on almost every level. I really didn't think he would be driven off the track like this. Truthfully, given the speed he showed against Kimi, I wonder if there are any lingering mental effects from his injury last year. He just has not had any fire whatsoever. I say that because I just don't think FA would have been that much faster than Kimi had they been on the same team. I hope Massa can pull it together next year, otherwise, and I don't like to say, but the team will not have any reason to keep him around.

Like him or not, Fred has clearly demonstrated why he has an ultra high pay grade------and Massa has demonstrated his.
