Gees I'm glad I've got a UK car with what I have to transport to SA. The boot is bigger. My business partner has an Oz delivered 308 and I have the UK car. We had to use some bits from his car as templates. I'd heard the UK car has a bigger boot so took the opportunity to measure them both today as they were almost next door neighbours. So, just confirming why I'm elated about Brett posting those boot photos of his car. My mate Judge Judy says that if you don't tell lies, you don't need a good memory. Here's what Brett's post of his boot proves. 1. we STILL get under phil's skin 2. Phil said that QVs and 328s from UK have deeper boots than the aussie ones because the aussie ones have cats that take up room and hence a shallower boot...so what does he use to compare?? Two cars from the 70s!!! lol..idiot. Neither of them had cats, of course. 3. in his desperation to prove he's right, not only did he choose cars that don't have cats (and never did), he chose two different models!!! Look, I don't give a hoot about your issues with Phil PP, I was merely commenting on my car compared to my friends. My car was missing the covers over the rear lights in the boot area and it was then that I learnt there was a difference between height in the boot of the cars. Not sure what your on about regarding fiberglass and steel. Both mine and Davids cars are steel. His is an Aussie car and mines a UK car. One day you'll move on and get a life.

David's car didn't come with cats....so if the boot is deeper on yours on that particular model, then it sure as hell wasn't because of that, was it? just had my car checked by Marc for the trip to Sadelaide. ..... VERY glad I did, his eye for detail fixed ALL the niggling faults I have put in it. The exhaust leak was fixed in less than 5 minutes by tightening all the manifold nuts (and no, I hadn't touched them PP!!!) The water temp was fixed in 10 minutes (this was my fault ) Not saying what I did but it was a fundamental mistake by someone who should know better and I'm firing him The suspension bushes will need changing when I get back, seems all the track work has flogged them to death .... and I was using the 355 bushes to make it last longer
Had breakie with Goober,i think his new car will pick up FTD,its awesome. He is on a mission,it was flown in.
