Would you mind sharing your offsets and and widths of wheel halves.. outside & inside, front & back?

    Alan, same question..

    - I'm thinking of swapping out for a set of wheels, would love more outside lip such as you guys have.. however, it is surley a close fit.

    Thanks,

    Paul

Wow, not original to that car/year correct? I's perfect on that GTB!

I first saw Azzuro California at Ferrari of San Fransisco in 99 on a new 550 Marenello.

Any wheel spcification you can provide?

    Thanks

    Hello Paul,

First, I have Nick's Forza Ferrari shock on all the corners which adds some needed room. The front wheel back space is 5.25" (128.6 mm) and the rear back space 5.875" (143.94 mm). The wheel fitment was done by HRE and specifically for a 308. It is very tight especially in the rear. However, the tires do not rub against anything. The wheel/tire clearance between the rear shock is less than a .25" (6.13 mm). I cannot see how you could fit an 10" x 18" wheel without moving the rear shock inward.

    Regards,
    Alan

    indeed, same size and offset
although on this setup they look a tiny bit wider but that only because the studs ( the car has studs and nuts , instead of stock bolts, to fix the wheel) are not fully threaded so i put a 1" spacer behind the wheel. Just for the picture

Eventually I will use the wheels without the spacer ( just have to buy new studs)

My Mondi came with 19ers... and they're too big, unfortunately. Love the look. Don't be a hater!

Previous owner said he got them off eBay. I see this wheel on there often... 19x7 front, 19x9 rears. I like seeing the meaty tires in the rear, but having meats up front makes for a very squirrley steering wheel. Gotta find the happy medium...

The fronts rub the inner fender liners when I corner, and the rears get shaved by the outer fenders. Kinda scary. I got home the other day and saw a flap of sidewall hanging off the tire.

I'm vacillating between 355 and 360 wheels at this point. Haven't seen too many custom wheels that grab me. Have been seeing some cool new paints tho... trying to figure out if black chrome would work on any of those wheels. Gonna play with Photoshop a bit and see what comes out.

+1 on your Mondial wheel choices. Top cars in this thread. :)

(Sorry 308 guys with Comps, like Sledge4.2, I would have said you, but it is amazing how good a Mondial can look with the right selection)

So how did you get the 328 wheels on a 308, I thought the 308 grease cover stuck out to far? Looks great. Nothing better than pre-abs 328 wheels

This thread proves "beauty is in the eye of the beholder". To me, aside from Pizzaman's 308 and the 360 wheels in post #2 (and other posts of 360 wheels), there weren't any I'd choose over the stock wheels. 348 and 355 wheels being the closest alternatives. I absolutely love the 360 wheels, but you really need to have a brake upgrade to properly pull it off. The stock brakes look kinda puny otherwise.

I'm a new member, and I'm seeing some amazing pictures of Mondials with 360 rims. I tried some on to see if they fit but found that the outside edge of the rear tire projected about 1" from the wheel arch.

Some of you noted that no modifications to the wheels were made, however I was told that the rear rims could be milled deeper to fit within the wheel well.

Does anyone have any experience with this?

I've attached pictures of the fitting.

    thanks
