I had not even thought of the latter.... I need to get that big eared GFRT member to send donations so I can finish my own car.

What I learned at school today?

    * If its posted on the Net it must be true
    * Assumptions are just that until proven. Facts have a terrible habit of getting in the way of a perfectly good assumption. I am fully guilty of same.
    * I have my work cut out for me
    * If BruceW was caught out in a field when a gust of wind comes... there no telling where touch down might occur.

Most of the items on the check list I agree with. Add, pulling fuel pumps to inspect the rubber components before the engine is started with fresh injectors.

Seen that before- it's always nice to find 1/2 pound of half chewed up black licorice in your fuel system.

    When the money runs out.

Since you have the heads off, get them ported along with a good three angle valve job. You may also wanna look into getting the throttle bodies ported and matched.

No, but as weak as the dollar is right now, it probably would be cheaper to send them here anyway. :)

So nice to turn the corner and be putting it back together. heads back with new guides and a general clean up as pic,

air intakes back to the c pillar, all timed up and hills bearings.

Just come across od gasket you forgot to order now and again. oh re crackle painted the cam covers they look nice. ill post a pic of that later.

and yes you do need the special tool for doing up the head nuts dont you! fortunately managed to borrow it from friends at local dealers.
