i actually didnt know you couldnt post stuff like that. how ever I know the owner personally he has a house here on my islan he is currently in california and yes the car is in california. it was peurchased here in 2005. it is currently in san jose california so i dont see how fantasy junction could be selling it. I know they will have it very soon. but i have the contact of where the car is located and I am 100 percent sure that its not in san fransico just yet. thanks though. ill just let it go you can delete the post if you want. i really am just trying to get as invovled as i can. it seems you guys have nothing better to do.
Nothing better to do.... And we know a lot more about this stuff than you do. Dont think us fools. And quit lying to us. You will last longer.
I didnt lie. I was just un aware that they posted that in the past few days. but I do have the ability to get it to someone 25K less then they are offerring
Josh, it will take you some time but if you stick with it you will understand that paying an extra maybe 25k for a vintage car that has been or can be inspected by Patrick Ottis is 25k well spent. Please don't PM me again. I'm not interested in this car. I just bought a California Spyder and I'm tapped out for a month or two.
PM Solicitation of members is a quick way to get banned and ostracized in the Ferrari community for sure!
hey josh...are you still there? doc, i think it is about time to play another card and get this guy immortalized in the "owned" sig line. i am going out to have a smoke in this lovely 70 deg day! btw doc...got a lovely castello pipe from trent...i'm gonna go enjoy a puff or two now!! pcb
HAHAHA that was a good one glass. you really are funny. California spyder? didnt the last one go for Auction for like 28 million. I believe it was also recked. and by the way to have a ppi done buy a ferrari technition or even a ferrari dealer it will cost you about 250 to 300 dollars i would think the 25k could be spent else where on any other restoration on the car. It is to my belief that wealthy people are wealthy for a reason. 25k is a lot to save by anyones standards. I know a rich guy that buys ferrari's all the time never pays the highest price. he even complains about losing 5 bucks.
Don't laugh, my Cal Spyder is currently undergoing a few modifications that will make it the rarest on the planet. I have a "Daytona" style roll bar being fabricated. As I'm sure you know the 250 engine has dual oil filler caps. I think this is absurd without dual dipsticks, sooo I will have chrome dual dipsticks on my car. A slight modification to the wheel wells for racing slicks and I'm in business. And of course a CD player, because who would spend this freeking much money on a car without tunes??????
Please don't forget the carbon fiber blinker fluid reservoir, that will rid that car of a lot of excess weight. Also, just out, a new cross flow, double pass blinker fluid cooler that keeps those temps in check under high blinking conditions,a must have.
That may be true, just maybe, but the fact of the matter is that when dropping 1/2 million on a car you will want a professional with high regard in the business to inspect it. You will also want a company like Fantasy Junction in on the deal to gurantee your satisfaction and make sure the deal goes as planned. Getting burned on a deal like that will make you kinda angry. And 25K for that kind of protection is money well spent. That may be why no one in their right mind would want to get involved with a kid from Hawaii blowing smoke. There is only one person that I know of on this planet that will drop that kind of cash without a second thought, no PPI and no inspection, and believe me he knows exactly what he's doing. You've been a lot of fun. Thanks.
just to clear up I checked with the owner today and it seems that fantasy junction doesnt have a signed agreement with him yet so its kind of pre mature there posting. i have some photos of the car that arent fantasy photos
And boom.....there it is. Crickets, another one bites the dust!!!!!! Well this much fun can't go on for ever I guess.
they are of the car when it rolled out of the garage bafore it was restored. by the way i bet you cant find it on fantasy junction now. they were told to take it down Image Unavailable, Please Login
Bet I can! http://www.fantasyjunction.com/cars/631-Ferrari-250GT%20Lusso-3.0L%20V12 Still there. (Owned)
Try to abbreviate or shorten it, to something like "kid from HI". I bet you could come up with a better one. One way or another he should really be in your sig.
Really? Is no one else going to mention this? How is that photo proof of anything? Looks like a terrible photoshop.
You guys are SO cynical. It's really pretty obvious the car sat still and he SPUN HAWAII AROUND IT. Duh. Simple physics.
Cuz this tool/kid in Hawaii keeps digging his hole deeper and deeper. My kitty Binx will play until the toy stops moving. Pops
