ROCKY IV

I've watched Rocky IV several times and I've never been able to tell what kind of Lamborghini he drove in the film. I know it's a black one. Is that a Jalpa or Countach?

Several have claimed their car to be the one. Same thing on the white Jalpa on Miami Vice.

i never seen actual proof of any jalpa to be "THE" actual Rocky car

 

Weren't both Lamborghinis given to Stallone as a gift? Don't know if that was true or not.

On a side note, does anyone know the Rutger Hauer film that had a Lamborghini in it? Supposed to be one with an LM002 in it.

 

Don't know, but last summer the Fast and Furious 3 movie had an LM002 in it. The bad drug lord guy in Mexico was driving one and it looked real cool. Neat that old eighties Lambos still get starring roles in current movies.

The Jalpa from the movie caught fire about 6 years ago give or take. It's toast. I can't remember where I found the article but it took quite a bit of time and digging. It even had a shot of the car on fire. so at least you're spared that task. Sadly, the car is no more! Altough the red one in the driveway may still be around!

i seem to remember that car was a black-light interior and had not few differences from the scene in Rocky IV......i am not sure it was THE rocky car at all

there was not actual proof from the owner of it to be the movie car....

The car in the movie was black on black, which could have been changed, but I doubt it. Very interesting.

 

also other things are not the same on the car in the movie and the burnt one

i looked closely at the movie and imo they do not look the same car

add that actual proof of the burnt jalpa to be the rocki IV's one was never posted or showed from the owner and i think the case is open still

 

I thought Stallone owned that car from the start, and still does own it...meh..who knows...(the shadow knows!!!).

 

I remember my dad had two in his showroom when he sold Lamborginis in the 80's. A black one and a white one.

 

old thread bump... wonder why the countach got no driving parts in the film hehe... The Jalpa back then was the unknown little brother to the CT. Makes sense that Lambo wanted the attention on the Jalpa, since the CT had plenty of popularity already
