wow, i'm just running across this for the first time... I'm 99% sure this was my uncle's car, the original french owner! I grew up my whole life with this car, I know it inside out and know its story really well. (well assuming I'm not making a mistake, but how many brown Daytona with us specs were delivered in France then sold in Switzerland!) Image Unavailable, Please Login
Early picture of a plexi nose Daytona coupe perhaps wearing Fly Yellow or possibly pale yellow? It would seem to indicate the factory did paint the 'blood trough' in a contrasting color on a few examples. One interesting feature missing on this example is the outside mirror. Anyone recognize the building behind the Daytona? CH Image Unavailable, Please Login

thanks vizsla no more daytona's but plenty of Ferrari paintings at www.car-a-day.blogspot.com cheers!
No it was an auction Daytona in the UK with RHD. It actually made 20,000 over the estimate! Just something to bring back the Daytona pictures with a suitable entry. I do like the look of what the Europeans call S1 Daytona models with that plexi nose treatment. CH
Was this the one that made £220,000 plus commission at Coys? Coys did ring me up last week about selling my Barchetta with them and said they had sold a Barchetta for £140.000 [ LHD] plus com. and a Daytona recently for the above amount. Looks like prices are still strong.
