I'm glad Josh is around. This is the most action in the Hawaii section in history!!!
Josh also has a presence on the Hawaii Craig's List, where he announces he's "wanting to purchase Ferrari's (sic) ANY model ANY year ANY condition. . . LOCAL CASH BUYER!"
A young and budding Tom S. with a very small market area, and absolutely no idea what he's doing. More humor on the horizon!!!!!
I'll keep it going. First post in Hawaii myself. Looking now for something to do besides the 6 hrs by the ocean/pool we did yesterday.
He's still checking in too. Probably pissed his "friend's car" is STILL offered for sale in California.
The car is currently in California. The owner does reside in Hawaii, and the car was there for many years. I have a feeling Young Ferrari Lover HI does in fact know the owner, but isn't that close to him nor does he know much about the car. Just my guess..
Btw, the enthusiasm is great, however, if you want to get into being a broker for high end cars your best bet is to try and get a job at a high-end dealership, or at least some sort of dealership, to understand how the business works and try to craft your skill.
Good advice. Here's some more... quit posting BS. Make's you look like an idiot and WILL haunt you forever. If you think a potential employer won't google your name you are sadly mistaken. I know for complete certainty if I entered a dealership and Joshua Gainey was the saleman,... I would leave. A tarnished reputation is difficult to restore.
oh please grow up!...that add on craigslist is my Job i'm am hired to post that and for your information that little add has done relatively well . wh if if I wasnt meant for whether or not you belive in my goals I will get there. This is also what I do for fun. So you can follow me if you wish, and try and ruin my name. But I will keep comming and I am younger and much more motivated and probably much healthier then most on here, so say what you will but being time is at my advantage i probably have a better chance in reaching that goal then most. I like how I havent been on here for a while and its loaded. this what I do when I have free time I also run a business that has nothing to do with ferrari's. so dont worry even if im not meant for ferrari's I will be just fine. thanks for all the interest though. You guys really have no Idea what I am about or what I do.
haha. I had a 4.0 in college english sooo... but when im typing especially on a forum. im not to worried about it, but thanks!
I know if I was shopping for a high end exotic someone who can't type correctly is going to turn me off. Just some friendly advice, image is everything in sales. What are the initials of the current owner of the car?
If I am right, the guy I know would laugh it off, at least I think he would. I must say I dont really understand this thread, except there is a passion for the cars. Binx and Jedi saved the thread for me!
I would laugh it off too, to be honest. What I would not find funny would be this kid's saying the people that (obviously) are selling my car... really are not.
The kid saw the inspection sticker and figured he could pass it off as a vehicle in Hawaii? That Hawaii inspection sticker is at least two years expired on a car with Illinois plates. And I will say that there are tons of kids far younger than him in Hawaii who are at least as passionate about Ferrari and FAR more knowledgeable.
For the money, I'd take the Lambo 350GT AND the Ferrari 250PF and the $50K. Note to self, "I need a bigger garage and a bigger paycheck"!
