Would the only thing worse than losing the F1 WDC title have been winning it?

Would every story about Alonso's championship needed to include a paragraph about the German GP and the contrast to how RBR ran their campaign? Would it be safe to park a Ferrari on the street?

Would have been no problem parking in HB considering how few F1 fans there are around here ;)

I doubt it would have been that big of a deal really.

Would have been safe to park an Fcar in the US since so few know, or even care, what F1 is. :(

Does that mean it will be OK for Flavio Briatore to come in and lead Ferrari to a title next season?

I won't speak for anyone else but I wouldn't have a moral issue with his return to F1.

I think "moral" and "F1" don't belong in the same sentence with each other.;) Anyway, why would there be a problem with Flavio? If he lost some weight and dyed his hair he would be no different than LDM.

    You catch my drift.
Having a known scoundrel would at least lower the prevailing level of hypocrisy by one.

I prefer my snakes to have loud rattles ;)

It might be different if the concept of "shame" still existed in F1 (or any part of public life) but until then pin a big red S on him and get back to work

I would agree, but I also apply that to Alonso, they are two peas in a pod.

To be honest, I got jeered at and told to sell my car the day after it happened, I took it in jest, but there was some real dislike of things Ferrari.

I asked one guy if it would put him off buying a Ferrari..a resounding yes was my reply.

    I doubt it would though.

I don't think it would have mattered to the casual watcher of F1 and in the bigger scheme of things avid watchers of F1 cannot deny Ferrari road cars are a thing of beauty, so I'd say its safe.

We've got a Jiffy-Lube right around the corner so no problem. They even check the air in your tires when they change the oil. First cabin all the way.
