Oh thats cool, I worked with him, or should I say in conjunction with him on a two year project and we had a lot of conversations but never about cars. It was a year or so after the project ended and I saw him that he mentioned he had these cars! I would have never guessed! Jedi!!! Thats surely one hell of a mouser you have there! Thanks for the pic.
Um, sorry, but 4.0 is a GPA (grade point average (meaning total AVERAGE) not your overall grade for a college COURSE. Unless you took all however many college English courses, then there is no way you got a 4.0. You should be worried about your grammar on a forum, because apparently you sell Ferrari's and this is a Ferrari forum, I wonder how you would dress if you went to a funeral. Would you not be worried about because the person is dead? Of course this is just an example. So, first, why are you doing this? Why make a spectacle of yourself, when you've already been called out? Come clean, there are plenty of younger kids on this forum that don't need to lie to be accepted.
I find it very humerous that everyone is still trying to make up things about this whole situation. if you want I could forward some of my college papers that I got all A's on, also the owner of this car does have the initials M.R. and yes, I told him about this whole thing and he did laugh about it. He told me that most the people on this forum just run there mouth and cant even begin to be a player in the Ferrari world. personally I would drive a 308 or a 348(DR, which by the way was just a transition car not very valuable and sell for cheaper then a 308 or 328) but those cars as old as they are don't really make anyone a major ferrari player. why would I try and say the car was in Hawaii. The owner called me via my add and I told him I would help him sell it. it is in california the owner is in hawaii. so naturally I assumed the car was on island.
A few observations: The word "humerous" should read "humorous", as there is no such word as "humerous". The first word of a new sentence needs to be capitalized (U.S.) / capitalised (U.K.). When you write "A's", the A grade does not own anything, so I would suggest you type "A grades" instead to indicate plural attainment of good educational evaluations. The words "ferrari", "california", and "hawaii" all need to be capitalized (U.S.) / capitalised (U.K.). A forum cannot fun "there mouth" and you should have typed "their mouths", as you were using the wrong word to indicate the possessive form of "they" and we have multiple mouths to run rather than one collective one. The contraction of "can not" requires an apostrophe within it, like so: "can't". You have absolutely no idea what to do with commas, do you? I would extend this evaluation to cover the rambling thoughts you have mashed together into single, long, poorly-constructed sentences, but I fear your head would explode. What were you saying about those high marks you allegedly received in English? I doubt you even made it into college writing like this, let alone did well there. Your appalling standard of education aside, you won't make any friends here by trying to sell cars you don't own, creating the fiction that you are somehow a "player" in Ferrari circles, or by denouncing FerrariChat as not being influential in the realm of Italian automotive marques. Some of the most important Ferrari consumers and traders are right here - and, rather than embrace the incredible knowledge these wonderful people are willing to share, you come out guns blazing with your belligerence and assertions that you have better contacts. Either you're a fool or your contacts are so damned good that you should feel free not to come crawling back here trying to turn deals and "learn". You are beyond a joke and your antics are becoming increasingly pathetic. Regards, Andrew.
Andrew, I nominate that for post of the month. I also added a few more.... -You don't (and can't) respond to an "add", you respond to an "ad" -Sell should be plural -Missing an and in "just a transition car not very valuable" -The car is not "on island", but rather on the island
Could someone please explain what you need to do to be a "Ferrari Player". Is "Josh" a Ferrari Player?
I thought shamile was the only true "playa" on this forum? I'm good with him scanning his transcripts and 4.0 "grade A" papers to the forum. Oh wait that's beef
Apparently a "major" Ferrari Player!? Until a couple of years ago, I worked in management for the Hawaii Ferrari dealer and was very familiar with the local market and knew, or knew of, most of the "players" and still keep reasonably current. Never heard of Joshua. Hawaii - specifically Oahu - is a small market for exotics and I'm sure a major player like Josh would be known outside Craigslist postings. For yucks, I did a Google search for Joshua J.K. Gainey. There's a person listed on Facebook by that name with the below (edited) photo. Can't say it's "our" Josh but, if so, let me suggest to him that he adds Ferrari to his "Likes" listing to complement "Coca Cola", "Megan Fox" (at least we agree on something), "Lady Gaga", "Lil Wayne", "Buddy the Elf" and "Squirt". Cool it, Josh. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Buddy the Elf, that IS a good one. That movie is hilarious So Josh, are you going to try to deny this one, or is it some other broker?
Wait...wouldn't the fact that I own a 308 make me more of a major Ferrari player than a kid who doesn't own a Ferrari? If the age of the Ferrari doesn't make it worthy, then what Ferrari would make one a major player...a 360? And if the 308 is too old, a 212 must have ZERO value.
Seriously The hell does being a "Ferrari player" matter? No one on here is the stereotypical ****** bag Ferrari owner that runs their mouth that you speak of. Everyone on on here I've ever exchanged PM's with, or met in person were absolute gentlemen. Some of the nicest people I've met. Who cares what Ferrari you have. A Ferrari is a Ferrari. If you own one, your all part of one club. It doesn't matter if I had an Enzo or a "lowly" Mondial, I'd drive it with my head up high and cherish every waking moment I spent with the car
So knowing somebody who ownes signifigant Ferrari makes you a "major Player"? That would make me an "A1, Super over the top, major, major, supercalafragalistic, PLAYA". We should do lunch, and talk about our riches. Mondials suck!!!!!!!
"Ahhemm" "Player?" "Paging Mr. Player" "Mr. Player, please pick up the white courtesy phone" I do thank the "playah" for allowing me to find that sweet lambo 350 GT at FJ though, funny how a thread like this enlilghtened me to this auto. +1. I've never posted in the Hawaii section. This seems like a good thread for my first. Not controversial at ALL.
350 and 400 are sooooo fine. I wish I had a little cash left over after picking up my Cal Spyder!!!!!!!!!
Sorry to have to say this but I would rather have a 300GT or 400GT than a Mondial any day of the week. I'd take either over the Lusso discussed here too. The perfect 4 headlight treatment.
