Seriously, where else would Mark go if he wants a competitive ride...even this kid Ricciardo is fast in the car...may be a long year for all of red bull's competitors next year....
Possibly. [The kids times are just confirming what a dominant car it was IMO - Maybe Vettel isn't really as good as it seems! Dons flamesuit! ] But they've gotta build a new car, same as everyone else - It might be *complete* crap!..... IIRC, the Mclaren that they scrapped "mid-season" a few years back was a Newey design (?) My point being, none of 'em get it right every year - One of the appeals (to me anyway) of F1. Cheers, Ian PS - Although, reading here suggests that if Ferrari don't win it all, every year, everyone from the drivers thru LdM should be fired!
A big ol' +1 there D! I am still a little surprised at the total domination they're showing right now though - Some of jockeys have switched teams during the tests - I'd love to see Ferrari's kid in that car!...... [The great unwashed have already decided he sucks.... ] Cheers, Ian
Speculation season has officially begun. The fallow time of year when we exist solely on rumors and regrets. BTW the same thing applies to actors. You can never judge acting talent on one role alone.
I was waiting for that *one* example "But it was wet!" And he was a little lucky...... MW leveraged an entire career out of his 6th place debut in the Minardi..... Cheers, Ian PS - Don't get me wrong, he won the title fair & square IMO.
It will be interesting to see how Ricciardo compares to Liuzzi http://www.speedcafe.com/2011/06/30/daniel-ricciardo-to-make-f1-debut-at-silverstone/
+1 *IF* (and it's a big if!) he can blow Tony's doors off and keep his nose clean, he's on his way. If it's the other way round his stay in F1 will be very, very, short. I have no idea, but don't think Tony is as bad as that car makes him seem.... Finally, a little bit of interest for these tail-end-Charlies. Good luck to him & the team! Cheers, Ian
