brand new gallardo spyder released today

look at this beauty brand new gallardo lp 570-4 performate spyder.

its the softop version of the 570-4 superleggera. it will be around same price as 458

That is sharp. Yet, the new Gallardo (or whatever they call it) probably isn't too far off. It will be a nice used buy someday, though.

I thought this was the 458 section??

 

i know this is a 458 section , however i thought 458 owners and potential 458 owners would like to see the competetion.

it is competition as they are both priced roughly the same and they both have the exact same horse power.

i must admit i like... im even thinking of cancelling my 458 and getting one of these, my reasons being

- i have to wait another 9months for my 458, but i can get one of these in march.

- also i can get abit of a discount at lamborghini, whereas as i get nothing at ferrari

 

Cool man, I dont think they are in direct "competition" seeing as the 458 is a coupe and the Gallardo is a Spyder.

Best of luck with the decision. I wish I was in your shoes. They are both GREAT cars, but a 458 coupe is what I would much rather prefer.

The 9 month wait to get one would certainly be worth it.

 

Feh. Hate the view from the front - those airfoil winglets suck, IMO. OK from the side, though. Doesn't even come close to a 458 in looks, IMO.

 

Looks like every other Gallardo from the past 10 years.

 

i think the new lambo is a very aggrevise looking car... the interior is fantastic simillar to the reventon and carbon fibre everywhere.

the 458 is a very pretty car, gorgeous to look at with beautiful curves.

A bit more agressive in the front but still with an Audi airco-unit.....

The 458 looks just superb!! From the first time I saw the car it was just woow....
Also when you sit in the car everything match. I haven't driven it yet but someday I will certainly take it for a testdrive (maybe to replace my 360, no beside my 360).

I think the Gallardo looks pretty nice, although, I think the front chin spoiler is a little over-done though.... Sticks out too much for me.... Each car will give you excitement to drive but the Gallardo can drop the top...... Good luck with your decision....

have you driven both? I first wanted to buy a LP560. I drove it on a track and compared with the 458.... choice was easy. The Lambo still feels like a 5 years old design... the 458 performs better when you are in the mood to push it, and is so much more versatile.

 

I dont mod this section..............if I did, you'd be gone!
