maybe not quite considered exotics, but I saw two white 911 cabrios driving together with the top down on St. Charles, like twins.

 

I heard there are 12 Audi R8's (some v10s) in town for some Audi event. I have not yet seen one though. Keep your eyes open.

 

I've seen one! At the service bay at audi for about a month now. Looks like the engine is out.

 

Unless there are two around (doubtful) I saw it again today; got a pic this time...

You mean to tell me you are going to call a spot on that and not the beautiful, rare, exotic, show stopping stopping CLK500 that was in front of you getting on the causeway this morning?? Obviously, that was me.

 

Ahh...I figured I should save that for a more "rare" spotters thread since this is more for your average f-car spots.

 

I might be on the northshore tomorrow...will keep my eyes open for it

 

Lotus at the Chevy/Mitsubishi dealer in Slidell. Anyone know how to decipher the Manheim sticker? I assume it's a '99 model with "35,807" miles?

A guy my dad worked with had a Lotus like that. I used to see it all the time in Covington.

Spotted a red California in Mandeville/Covington last Sunday. I was behind him in the Evo, and some teenage jackass in a new Camaro decided to give us both the ricer flyby.

Is it still a ricer flyby if it is done in a piece of domestic junk?

Also, saw a red Testerossa near the Hammond exit on Saturday around 4pm when I was riding my CBR600RR home from BR.

 

I can guarantee it was black with black windows, blue ovals around the headlights, and a loud exhaust. I dealt with the same guy on the causeway the other day. I didn't even notice the camaro, brah, when I pulled up next to a red viper with white stripes on the causeway and gave him a wave.

We were just passing that final crossover where you can safely open the car up a little bit. I was doing a steady 80 when the blue circles came up in the sideview mirror going a good 15mph faster and passed me. I laughed and thought, "That guy really wants a ticket." We ended up together again at the red light on the west approach and this time I realized he was not just in a rush, but he was also 3-4 times cooler than me and was going to prove it in a race. Red turned to Green and it was on, I accelerated to a blistering 2000 RPMs and 35mph and he went to twice that. I laughed again and let him go as he backed off to taunt me through 3 school zones and the past the mandeville dept of public works (where the causeway police park). When I turned into my neighborhood he floored it again to make sure I knew his Camaro was AWESOME.

 

It's a *****in' Camaro.
