A few years ago I ordered a spare plug for my 328 (like the ones in your photo), removed the thermo time switch and plugged it. Again, this is on a 328 but I'd be surprised if there were any difference. In any event. as I recall, the plug is not expensive so no biggy if you end up not being able to use it.

Chris it has been 10 days, why are the heads not on yet and the engine complete. You need to get going fast.

Chris has a Monday thru Saturday job that takes up about 12 hours/day counting the 1 hour commute each way. So at most he has Sundays to work on the car, help his elderly parents when they need it, do home maintenance, etc.

    Great picture. Thank you!

Looks like the cheapest is $15 I'll get one and go from there.

I have been doing some misc research on the water temp sensor for the Tec3. I also emailed Nick Forza to get his take on this. My initial plan was to place the Tec temp sensor on the last hole where the temp switch was.

Nick recommends I drill and tap the original spot, where the water pump is, and place the Tec sensor there. And place the original water temp in the water jacket manifold pipe, the one that connects the two heads. That hole is open and I will need to close it anyway, so it makes sense placing it there.

I also pulled out the original water temp to see what it looks like and found out it's a small stubby kind of sensor.

    I guess I have 2 options:

1, Leave the original one alone and somehow install the Tec sensor in the water manifold pipe.
2, Do what Nick says and place the Tec sensor in the original water temp spot and somehow install the water temp to the water manifold pipe.

Which one is going to give me less of a headache??

Well guys, after doing some serious thinking I decided that I need a pro to do some assembly on the block for me.

You know, I would just love to just throw those heads on put the cam drive cover on and then slap that baby on the gearbox and call it a day.

But who am I kidding? It's not like making pizza's. Its getting into a different stage where I just cant afford any mistakes right now.

So I touched base with our own Ferrari Pro, David (fastradio here on Fchat) and even with his busy schedule, he made room to squeezed me in to finish the job right.

David has his hands full now. :)

    Pictures to follow soon....

Oh com'on Jeremy, I was looking forward for those.

Besides, i believe David just put me in queue. (my fancy talk) He wouldn't have time to put anything together yet. I mean I just dropped off the block, heads, cam drive/oil pump assembly and some dirty parts to him just last Sunday.

What can he have done that fast within 5 days???

I can tell you gents that despite my high expectations of some of Chris's delicious steak and cheese subs...or perhaps even a pizza, there was no food hidden in the many boxes of parts dropped off!

Anywho, after a quick inventory of what we have and we'll need to get this puppy back into her original glory, assembly has indeed started. A few snaps along the way....
