I have noticed that the two pieces of chrome trim that go on the front of each door are missing from my 73 246GT. I don't knwo what you call these so please see the picture of the part shwon below (with thanks to OMGJON and his great site). Can you help with finding these?

No chance to find them on the market. You have to rebuild them.
Not very difficult if you have some samples. Be aware to put them proper on it's place before rechroming.

    Thanks everyone.

I have emailed Rutlands, they are certainly showing these on their website. Fingers crossed .....

    Gents,
I believe those were only installed on the GTS. As I've mentioned in other posts, I'm certainly no expert; I've been up close & personal with only three coupes. However, none had those pieces. Having seen pictures of 'em on some cars here in F-Chat, my curiosity was piqued. I checked the factory Bodywork Spare Parts Catalog (from car n. 02132) and found them in TAV. 109 and TAVOLA 109, N. Fig. 39: "Modanatura anteriore destra" and "Modanatura anteriore sinistra," each followed by the note "Vale solo per Spyder." (omgjon's blue and synchro's red are Spyders.)

Simon, if the info in my copy of the catalog validates my observations, then your GT is not 'missing' the trim pieces. (In all things Dino...nothing is absolute. I faithfully remain open minded in my research. :))
    Cheers,
    Coop

Interesting & thank you. Rutlands site describes the part as for a GTS so I think you are all absolutely correct.

This is great news as it will save me around $300 plus shipping :)
