Maybe later this afternoon, otherwise Sunday?

    Any others?

I would need to be out of there by 4 today. Tomorrow is fine also.

I would be interested in checking out the SF Auto show Sunday. Maybe we could go tomorrow and grab breakfast before or lunch afterwards. It opens at 10 am. How about we meet for breakfast at 8:30 am? There is a restaurant nearby that we ate at last year.

WHERE: San Francisco's Moscone Convention Center, 747 Howard St., located between 3rd and 4th Sts. on Howard St. Exhibits are in the North and South Halls plus the Gateway and Esplanade Ballrooms.

ADMISSION: Admission $9.00, children 12 and younger free when accompanied by an adult. Tickets may only be purchased at the door.

I am leaving for La Quinta tomorrow morning, so I will have pass. We will be there for a week and thus I will miss the next drive. I will really miss seeing everyone and going on the drive, but we got a last minute killer deal on a great house.

    Enjoy and please post pics!

Sorry I missed the last drive. Had some official FOG research to do over on Oahu for future FOG drives. They have great breakfast spots, but the roads leave a little to be desired, not to mention the unmarked HPD cars and loads of construction. Good news is that a 355 rents for $900/day, a Viper is $500 and a Vette is $400. How much is a clutch and a set of tires on any of these? Seems like a bargain to me.

Here's the fastest surfboard ever built. The 16M Scuderia Spider. This is one of 499. If you can't read the tag, it says $3,825. The store manager is looking into the factory rack for the 16M for me. Once I get that lined up, all I need is a 16M to attach the rack to. Then I can pull the trigger on the board and I'll be all set!

I sure hope you picked up a bunch for your FOG brethren. Never seen anything like it! Bless you for enduring the tropical weather on our behalf. But it sounds like it's a no-go, right?

Well, at least for you. From what I understand, the only Scuderia in Hawaii is the one in the picture. There is, however, an amazing number of Porsche turbos. Given that the max speed on most roads is 50 mph, and you really can't go that fast most of the time because of traffic, I think that owning such a beast without any way to enjoy it would just drive me crazy. If FOG would like to plan a breakfast surf run, I'd be happy to organize. As hard as it is to believe, I understand that there are plenty of Scuderia boards still available for purchase.

    Gents,

I had the opportunity to meet the Sales Rep for Tesla today.

I mentioned that there might be an interest in a tour of the production facilities.

She said that that could be totally accomidated for FOG and that they would be happy to 'show us around' as well as have test drives.

I know we are in winter, the holiday season and all; but, please PM me with your email address if you want to be included in the decesion making process for this event.

My idea is to include as many people as possible, so please offer a couple of dates if you can. Weekends are better, maybe even after the first of the year.

On the heels of seeing Porsche and Ferrari production lines this summer, I for one am very interested in this opportunity.

    Greetings from Beijing.

A friend brought this over yesterday and handed me the keys, I politely refused.
You think I'm insane, but I know what will happen if I do...
Probably the same thing that happened to the pants of the gentleman on the right, buyers' regret from the Maserati owner?

Ask me what's inside the garage if these beauties are sitting outside? I'll only tell if 4RE is nice at the Holiday Roast since I won't be there to defend myself.

    Moogle,

Such as beauty! With that, you can go to the Great wall and back within an hour. Enjoy your stay in Beijing.

    Moogle,
Wow, you've got great self control in not trying the 458 out when your buddy handed you the keys. My brother, why fight the inevitable. From all I've heard, the Italia lives up to it's billing. In reading all the press reviews from Car, Evo, etc. (which I am extremely confident you have read, yourself), this car is the current "top-of-the-marque.". You will drive one sometime, soon, why prolong the agony. On a selfish note, I wished you had driven it so you could give us a trusted first hand experience of the Scud to the 458. Anyway, cheers, brother! It seems we have FOG bretheren littered throughout Asia, nowaday, between you and Hiros. Hope to see you soon behind the wheel.

I didn't come specifically to see Ferrari, but sheesh. There isn't even a Ferrari display. There are two here 575 SA in the aftermarket section and a beautiful 275 GTB in the art school area. What gives, Ferrari?

The Arts University of SF displays some classics including this stunning 275GTB. A 575 SuperAmerica is displayed in the other room.

You can get the board from the San Francisco Store for $1820. I know because I just quit working there on Saturday. SORRY PONCH! Not something I care to explain publicly, but I will always support the owners of the franchise.

Apparently very well! They had a professional surfer buy one from the Hawaii store and he actually returned to say how fast it actually was.

I went to the S.F. Auto show yesterday and was disappointed that Ferrari wasn't there. I normally go to the L.A. Auto show every year. Ferrari isn't going to be there this year either. There are more concept cars in the L.A. show. I sent Ferrari S.P.A. an email and they said they have no plans to come to a show in the U.S.

Don't tell me that is the individual that bought the Veyron in the last auction... With the air quality there, can't imagine those cars sitting outside. But I guess he would be able to easily get a dedicated person to clean his car everyday at $200/month, if not less.
