So, Friday night, we headed down to Lamborghini Palm Beach, for a Car show in down town Palm Beach.

The plan was to meet at the dealer and caravan down.

We get there, and I noticed several cars right off the bat, LP570-4 Superleggera, LP560-4 spyder, Awesome Pearl Blue Murcielago, then.... a BEAUTIFUL Giallo 458 Italia.

I had my eye on the Italia the whole night. I fell in love with it the moment my eyes fell upon it.

Anyway, I get to taking pics. Shooting the cars around the Italia, and finally, going crazy with pics of the car.

As I'm taking pictures, I find out that the car was actually owned by a woman, I thought. WOW she also owns the pearl blue Murcielago, and a Gallardo. I see her over by the car, mind you, I absolutely HATE asking people for rides. Especially if I don't know them, so, I approached the car "Excuse me, I'm in need of a ride to Clematis, do you mind if I ride along with you?"

She said "Lets go! Hop in!" WHATATATATATATATATA?!?!?!?!?

We get going, and immediately, I'm overwhelmed by the V8 rumble. Almost makes me weak in the knees just thinking about it :D I couldn't believe I was in a Ferrari. Let alone the latest, greatest. We get going, camera phones out like no other, people taking pictures, people gawking as we drive past. All in all, the GREATEST 20 minutes of my life.

Here are a few pics of the car

I like it. Now the question is weather she is single or available.

Awesome Jay! Cool experience.... if you're ever in Seattle and can drive a stick with
proficiency, you can drive my lowly 328 GTS if you like.

As a general rule when talking about lady Ferrari owners, a picture of the owner is mandatory.

Did I mention she had the car for less than a day and put it on the track? Had 129 miles and it had been up to 164MPH

And, that her Murcielago, and 430 Spider before the 458 are 6spd manuals??

    :D:D

I've gotten countless "So, how did this compare to riding in the Gallardo, or Murcielago?"

A: Blows them out of the water.

I've been privileged, since my love of cars, to ride in tons of awesome cars. Rolls Royce's, Bentley's, an R8, ZR1, Murcielago, Gallardo (X2) and, now a 458.

And since I drove a Gallardo a few months back, I'm dying to drive a Fezza :D

I've said it before and I'll say it again; congrats Jason!!! Nothing like your first Ferrari ride! That 458 looks beautiful. To those that asked if she was single/available, I already asked him that question the night this happened. SO, if she is/was, I got first dibbs. :D Congrats again Jason.

P.S. Take Jedi up on that offer...or I will slap you for being so stupid. Seriously. ;)

Congrats, the first ride is something that you will always remember. For me it was a 1967 330gtc that belonged to my Uncles neighbor. I was 10 years old at the time.

Awesome story! You'll never forget it.

My first time in a Ferrari was in my dad's Testarossa, I was behind the wheel. I drove a Ferrari before I rode in one. My first ride was when my wife drove our F355.

Any pics of the ladies other vehicles? Thats great that a woman is that into cars enough to buy her own!!! We need more women like this :)

On another note a friend of mine just became a Dr. at 32 and she plans on buying a 430 in 2-3 years...She dated a guy for a few months with a blk 430 and was hooked.

What kind of career did she have to be able to afford all 3?

Congrats on your first ride! I love hearing stories like this. I've only ridden in two so far. First was a red 348 Spider, second was duskybird's (Bill) 360 Modena in S. Florida. Not bad for your first experience being a 458, but you did set the bar pretty high ;)

    Great shots too!

I think that's Monterey Blue, one of the best Lamborghini colors of all time, behind Grigio Telesto of course ;)

It looked far different than the other MB Lambo's I've seen.

    I'm really not sure.

Hopefully I'll see it in the sun
