Here is something to put our emotions into perspective. http://vimeo.com/13412780

Quick rundown of the video - it's a dedication to Ayrton Senna and the Honda NSX, a car which he worked very closely with Honda to develop. It's essentially about Senna and the NSX returning the driving enthusiasts home - the Nordschleife.
Cinematography is beyond exceptional. Senna's voice over is magical.

Well done, though a bit overly dramatic for my taste but that isn't a knock on the film; I just have simpler tastes. Somewhat weird timing for me as I watched The Italian Job by Jeremy Clarkson earlier today that includes a tribute to Senna.

Yes indeed, and as a matter of fact The Italian Job by Clarkson contained to elements in that video.

    1) The Ferrari on display during the 1979 French GP that Clarkson mentioned that battled for second place... Audio from that race was used in the Format67 video (occurs when the commentator talks about them reaching 160-165 mph with Arnoux about to pass etc etc). That video does contain quite a bit of automotive history in it.

    2) Senna of course was featured in both.

*Off topic but I really don't enjoy Clarksons videos anymore simply because his driving style irritates me. He perpetually goes through every corner sideways and then proceeds to complain in agony about how slow the car is around a track or when chasing another car.

The Format67 guys are definitely pros in high definition video production. I went to their website and there are other examples of their work available for viewing. Thanks for posting this link. Always great to see the work of talented people around the world!

Indeed they are and you're more than welcome. It's a pleasure to share this video. The recent one about the Audi R8 featuring a poem from Edward Cummings is absolutely astonishing as well... just didn't 'spam' the forum with videos if you know what I mean.

Really really dramatic, it makes for a very cool style. I got caught up in his other videos now, all very well done. I think the R8 video is my favorite, this guy has talent, both with capturing emotion and camera skill
