Wish they'd just stick to reviewing cars.

I think the cow they are milking is starting to go tired, and I'm saying that being a huge Top Gear nut myself.

Honestly, I thought that the latest Stig controversy was going to be the moment they stopped having fun and ended the show.

An actual car review sure wouldn't hurt once in a while...

"Tried" watching this DVD today.. turned it off after about the second segment because of how ridiculous it was starting to get. Bunch of explosions.. bumping in to each other, driving over food cans, "evading" the paparazzi in a post-apocalyptic world... seemed like they were trying to go for the cheap laughs, it got pretty lame after a bit and just couldn't watch anymore. There was a part showing an F40 in the intro but I didn't make it that far yet, also no Jeremy which to some could either be a good or bad thing.

You just need to watch the part where they are both remotely controlling the other persons car in a lap around the Top Gear track. It's mind bending! :D

I am disgusted that James said the F40 has a V6!!

I tried something similar but much less epic one time. I was playing a driving video game on an in-car tv while someone else was sliding the car around in the snow. I could hardly do a lap in the video game because everytime i felt the car I was riding in go sideways I would naturally counter steer with the video game :D It was seriously confusing my senses :D

I just cannot believe they are going to release the DVD to the market without at lease
OVERDUBBING it ... I can see not doing a reshoot. But that just cannot stand.

Well, if Top Gear were to stick to reviews only, it wouldn't be fun and entertaining to watch. This DVD was supposed to be ambitious and different which is was. If you wanted a serious car show with serious reviews all the time, then watch 5th Gear...
