What happens if he lose the race? Haven't tried B-spec yet. I know someone won a 70's racer which he used in A-spec (in Expert).
After LV15 it has not happened, unless of course I put him in an inferior car but put him in an equal car and he will almost always win, now I have to train the other two for the endurance races
I've started B-Spec along with A-Spec. It's very fun and frustrating, it's like watching F1 and your driver can't get past a certain Russian to a lesser extent. If you do the sunday cup with a Civic or a Miata it is quite a challenge to get B-Spec Bob on the podium less win the race, you have to level him up. You also win prize cars for getting golds as you do in A-Spec. I'm naming my drivers famous F1 names, so far I have an E.Senna, and an A.Alonso. The secret to B-Spec is letting him do a race with no orders, see were he messes up over the course of the race (there are corners he will get wrong most times). Then push him where he will make no mistakes, keep pacing him up. Only overtake when he is very near the car on front and can keep pushing and most importantly pace him down where he messed up and don't think about pacing him up even if the bar is cool.
Maybe if your driver was faster than the Russian, he wouldn't lose his cool and flip the Russian off displaying his lack of sportsmanship.
Ok, here is a stupid newbie question: How do I create a fake PSN account? I never play online, so I have really no clue. I looked up the administration tool under PSN and only found an old account of mine, which I couldn't edit (partly because I forgot the password). It didn't let me create a new PSN.
Here's the directions on how to do it. It also has a list of the cars you can get. Us Chicago guys gotta stick together Andreas!! http://iwantgamecheats.com/ps3/ps3_granturismo5-cheat-unlimited-free-cars-credits-birthday-trick.html
I messed around with B-Spec last night. It is pretty cool that you can just let him go and gain credits for you. I would watch just to make sure he got into the lead and was able to pull away somewhat, and then ease back to a steady pace, and then go off and watch TV. Got him up to level 5 as of last night.
Me too but sometimes he would spin and let the whole pack drive by before getting back on the track..
I had trouble with mine spinning out last night at lvl 7 during the Miata race. Turns out he had comfort tires instead of sport. I changed that and had no problem. You get the Mazda Furai for it which is great in the Like The Wind Indy race.
I finally found out how to up load the cars from a PSP to GT5 - only issue is that you can only use them in Arcade mode! so now I have 2 Enzos, a Veyron - F-1 car etc.... but no way to really have any fun! you also dont get the premium cars either its just standard versions... disapointed !!! However I did get a 458, and modded it up to 600+Hp, added full aero kit plus nice black wing on the back it looks great!!! been taking pictures ... just have to find out how to get them on to my Laptop so i can post!
Is it just me, or does the last turn of every last lap turn to ice? 6 out of 8 races tonight I spun out in the last turn and went from first to 8-12th. No matter how careful I was, it spun me out. Not to mention getting spun out by the AI in the first 100 feet of the race a few times! I wish I could record this and show you guys!
Yup, has happened to me a lot. The worst is the championships since you can't restart them, it's such a pain.

Tire wear...the physics change as you lose traction. I find that you have to initiate contact sometimes to get past the AI. There is aggressive blocking, but if you bump they will try to make you pay also by spinning you. Try driving that GT40 MK IV in a race. It's very fast but extremely twitchy. If you make any sudden movements, you're going to ricochet across the armco. You also lose grip on the front during the race leaving you with serious understeer issues. (in other words, you have a car prone to understeer that responds poorly to over-correction. FUN!)
I always do. Whether in GT5 or IRL racing karts. Sometimes you get a penalty for it, by the game, the other competitors or the race stewards...
I can definitely feel the tire wear differences through the last lap (and think that's awesome!), but it didn't matter how careful or slow I was, it would spin out. It's almost like the game was glitched. I did it in FR, FF, and AWD cars. I ended up taking 2nd overall on GT All Stars because I went 1.5 sec in first to dead last on the last turn. I ended up in 7th in the previous race because of the last turn problem. I remember how twitchy the GT40 was on GT4. It'll take a while to get one, but eventually I will for GT5.
Still poking along at this game, I'm at level 18 now. I got a Free V12 voucher card so I'm on the lookout for a used 330P4. Not really interested in performing the "Birthday Cheat" due to the fact I have no idea what my PSN password is, I set it up over two years ago. Getting gold or at least silver during the tests is proving itself more difficult than I'd planned.
I'm trying to hook three PS3 together to have the side views but have no idea on how to do that. Connected two on a hub with GT5 in each but the two games never "talked" to each other.
