Bit like this one on Ebay at the moment. :o:o...
well, you doofus, we're talking about glass cars and how some are ugly, like you. stick to the topic like the rest of us do.
#19649. This was the car featured in Octane a few years back. There were quite a few Australian cars originally delivered in bianco, I have about 6 out of the total AUS glass cars being somewhere around 42. I think there are only two left in this colour. OMG, and a smog pump too, that's an extra point at the concour under originality! Then less a point because the belt is missing!
Somewhere, somehow, there is always a wogged up charriot that appears! Needs the registration plate "ZEUS"
Ohh deary me, look what I found in the depths of the carl PC. #19925. I have it as sold about a week back to Roland, can anyone confirm? #21729 in 2002. Nice to see the assembly number engraved on the inner guard. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I think he still has it Greg. If anyone buys it, I have a copy of the history of that car from the date of delivery to when it came here circa 2001. in Chinese! I think John has a copy too, but if not, I have it.
That yellow one (Vic reg SG-330 / #20955) has been sold and been sitting at Duttons for a long time. Was silver apparently and still has the blue interior (which looks a bit odd I think). They told me the person who bought it has another yellow one and only bought this one to reduce the numbers... not sure I believe that but hey... Image Unavailable, Please Login
Its a lefty, so Yanky car me thinks. Bla bla bla. That one is very nice. I didnt realise there were SOOOOOOOOOOOO many glass cars here in Aus.
Thank you for that Carl, you're a legend mate. Now I know that there was nothing in the no. box and that label (thanks 360C) IS correct. That's the first label though that I've seen that was stamped. All the others seem to be engraved by hand.
Well there you go. Thanks for posting that picture in my thread in the 308 section when I was asking for help. So much for being a friend. You can see how it must be hard for concours judges. I've got pictures of cars with the single box and hand engraved.
