I'm addicted since month. I check out the H.A.M.B each day and went through all the 800 pages.

H.A.M.B. is a nice website. I found some Carrera Panamerica photos on there. The last pages of North American B25C/D production photos taken in late 1942 or early 1943 with large format Kodachrome are amazing. This type of aircraft was built at Kansas City Kansas and Inglewood California. The quality is almost perfect. Judging by the file numbers on the color photos I think most of them came from the national archives. Here is a sample. Thank you Kodak!!

Here is another amazing link I found at gpma.org. Amazing Targa Florio, FORD GT40 and FIA/INDY photos!! They were compiled for model research and are for personal use only.

Actually, going back to town from the Riverside track. I was about 10 cars back on the shoulder running interference for somebody's Lotus 18.

    Splendid photos.
For the 250LM #5 Piper, with these stands in the background, it is not Zolder but Spa.500 km de Francorchamps 1965 in fact.

yes, but the race number, do not seem to be put in one place!
oui, mais le n° de course, ne semble pas être poser au même endroit!

The racing numbers of the car involved on the imca site are, as are several others, photoshopped thus non original.

    Well, I'm 100% sure my picture of Piper's car wasn't taken at Spa-Francorchamps 1965.
I do agree however for 100% (too, lol) that Piper's car didn't race at Zolder 1964.
Was Piper's car a DNS? Or wasn't even a participant. But I'm pretty sure I took this picture in Zolder that day.
    I will investigate it again.

Attached more photos that day. Without and with the information I collected.
I wasn't aware at that time that the 250 GT/L was a very special car.
Do notice that Geissmann didn't have a race number.

    0257 at Bruxelles. Posts 480 and 500.

It is a picture I took (posted at Barchetta.cc: FF40).
The slide wasn't scanned from the wrong side!!!!
It seems that somebody thought it was scanned wrong, reversed it and changed the colour as well. The green is much darker in reality.

A better proof I only can give with the attached picture I took some moments later or earlier on the same day in Bruxelles.
