Oh sorry, must have missed that one!! You're going to laugh but I came very close to pulling that label off when I got the car as I thought it was something someone had stuck on (lol!).
no idea. i'll find out one day. 35 years of history takes a little while to piece together, even when there was one owner for the first 30.
that bloody camera lied alright!! actually, i haven't seen one photo yet that accurately shows the colour.
And you won't unless you use a decent camera. That interior is reflecting a lot of infra red, the cheaper cameras reproduce the longer I.R. wavelengths as a magenta cast. (Synthetic fibres reflect the most IR)
You are truly stupid! All you had to do was ask and I could have sent you about 2,000 pics of 308's I've been collecting since 1996. Yes it took PP to buy one, for the pictures to surface. Now I won't post any more cos you are just too silly for words! Love and kisses, Carl
Well done Owen! Two more to look for on 308's, on the passenger side upper edge of the bonnet frame facing outwards and behind the chrome trim on the trailing edge of the door frame just behind the exterior door handle. Your car is close to mine, I'm #26.
I started a thread in the 308 section to try and find answers and did discuss it one day with you I'm sure while the car was at Phils, sorry must have dreamt it. I even showed you the sticker from 360C along witht he temperature one, but nevermind, it's all history now. You're mind was elsewhere me thinks. Time you got married and settled down.
Hi Brett, I'm very sorry about the sticker, a simple misunderstanding. I've always enjoyed helping 308 owners as you know. Here are some pics now that will help you with your 308 journey. Regards, Carl. 1. A Leica lens 2. Some welding equipment 3. A picture of me when I was 25 4. A pair of Klangfilm KL-V502 amplifiers.
