we do agree Dino286 sum spas and I was taken or the 250 LM Piper I think the 250 LM # 5 was taken at Spa-Francorchamps look at these two photos of the early pits at Spa, they are very similar. Zolder, I do not think that is the pits this way.
I think you are right. This photo shows 5897 at the 500km of Spa of 1965, same vent. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thank Boudewijn on photo Dino286, we distinguish the front cover the lighter color, which seems to be the same as in your photo. paint that is a party or something else. So we are in Spa. but why is it that Dino286, is not going to Spa in 1965, and is sure to have his picture took at Zolder in 1964! sur la photo de Dino286, l'on distingue à l'avant du capot la couleur plus clair, qui semble bien être la même chose que sur votre photo. la peinture qui est partie, ou autre chose. donc nous sommes bien à Spa. mais comment cela se fait-il que Dino286, ne soit pas aller à Spa en 1965, et qu'il est sûr d'avoir prit sa photo à Zolder en 1964!!!
This paint damage was only visible on 5897 at this Spa event. One week later at the Nürburgring it was gone.
Sorry if this has been previously covered in this thread or elsewhere, but this was linked from Jalopnik this morning: http://www.ten-tenths.com/forum/showthread.php?t=110290 Some great Ferrari photos in there!
Hello ferraristi. Tanks for so beautiful pictures. Perhaps you can find some picture interesting here: http://www.alfistas.es/foro-alfistas/index.php?topic=82.0 or here for the "fuoriserie": http://www.alfistas.es/foro-alfistas/index.php?topic=332.0 Salute
I was visitor at a Ferrari meeting in Monza, September 1986. Attached two pictures (of many). Not sure this is the right thread for it but anyway. I was a Tech Inspector(Scrutineer) for the California Sports Car Club and worked many races in southern California from 1959 to the early '70s. Cal Club had a series of supporting races for the GP that weekend and I worked those. One of the supporting races was for Production sedans; Jaguar and Sunbeam sent works supported cars which walked away from the motley assortment of Corvairs, Falcons, 850 Minis and Anglias most of which were literally right off of the showroom floors of local dealers. I was 21 years old, sleeping in the back of my mother's '49 Mercury station wagon. I had a great time. Anton

Any idea what the GTO (?) is? It seems it has a transparent bulb on the engine hood, so I thought it might be a 330GTO but it doesn't seem to match pictures I found of it.
I think it' s the adequate thread, isn't it "more old fotos". Nice pictures of the 308 mille chiodi, thank you for sharing! There is a special thread dedicated to this special car, perhaps you know it: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=7855&highlight=308+millechiodi Have you got other great pictures? Ciao Dino
Thanks, now I see what I thought was a bump over the carburators was actually one of the two ridiculously oversized air intakes. I'm so glad the car is back to it's original shape now, because on this race it looked hideous (in my own personnal opinion at least, and that does not concern the global look of the car, just those two huge details!). About the 308T, it's funny because it was the subject of many pictures and a video posted yesterday on the general thread of a french Ferrari related forum I'm spending too much time reading every day! You can find the pictures here: http://www.forum-auto.com/marques/ferrari/sujet28-40040.htm#t182317
Walter What's the web address of the HAMP website please? Looks like ED Martin's 290/315S 0656 in the second photo, and I'm always looking for photos of this as I have the body of that car. best wishes Will
