Every fighter knows how a fight should be scored.

Machida's line of defense may be to elude rather than block, but when he strikes, the speed that he goes from his defensive stance to actually striking is lightning fast. And brutally effective. I've seen plenty of other fighters I would call boring before Machida. I don't think I've ever seen him in a fight that I didn't enjoy. To each their own.

How about the Griffin/Lentz fight? Lentz wins a split decision, with the one judge scoring it in Griffin's favor, 30-27??? WTF?!?!?

Is there anywhere that has the Strikeforce fights online? And....I attended my first live mma fight Sat. night. An IXFA here in Houston. What a blast.

Just watched the TUF finale. Phan was so robbed. He won all 3 rounds and lost on a split. Yet another MMA miscarriage of judging. Honestly, do the judges have any MMA training/background to be scoring these fights? It sure doesn't appear that way sometimes.

    Bonnar looked really good.

I agree, Phan did win it. I really didn't care for the comment he made after the decision along the lines of an "......Asian brother not being able to get love..........." what does being Asian have to do with anything???

My boy's fighting this weekend!!! I can't wait to watch GSP kick Kos' ass......I just hope he KOs him in dramatic fashion.

Hey he's a 20-something yo kid on national tv for the first time and was just blown away like we were about bad judging over a fight he clearly felt(and did) win. I'd cut him some slack over that. It's the way these kids talk nowadays.

Yea can't wait either for GSP to get Kos to STFU. I'm pulling for a 1st rnd demolition.

Ummm, I don't buy that myself. He was on the whole season of TUF, so that wasn't his 1st time on TV. Live, yes, if that's what you are talking about. If that's how kids talk nowadays, then I don't care to hear it. I am betting someone talked to him after that. The last thing MMA needs is questions of race being introduced, in any way, shape, or form. What was he truly saying.......that the judges judged against him because he is Asian? It could be taken in that context. What if Garcia responded by saying something like "......yeah, looks like the Mexican brother got the love tonight........"........you see where I'm going with this? There's no need for that at all.

    Just my $0.02

Do you have any doubts? GSP will be out for blood, considering what he had to put up with during TUF taping.

The thought of Kos as Champ makes me cringe.

GSP will kill Kos. Kos is about the most whiny, self centered, hypocritical person in MMA. To think of him being champ would be... unsettling. I'll trust in GSP.

I hear ya. And I agree but it is the way kids talk these days. I wouldn't read too much into it. Hell, if the Nevada judges made the right call in the first place the kid wouldn't have been put on the spot.

Short of a puncher's chance, Kos is so outmatched it's not even funny. On top of that, Kos doesn't have the greatest chin...I say GSP by KO in rd 1!

Do you guys think that Kos is truly ******, or is he playing it up for the camera, or just trying to get under GSP's skin?

Kos is a very worthy contender, and after GSP lost to Serra, I will never look past any fighter that gets his shot at a title, and I am quite sure that GSP will not look past him either. I am sure Kos has got GSP pretty irritated with him, I just hope not to the point where GSP is no longer fighting using his brain. GSP a very intelligent fighter, and has Jackson in his corner, who is one of the most intelligent guys you can have on your side. It will be very interesting to see how this fight plays out, because you know Kos will try to utilize his wrestling a lot more than he did the first time, and will not be caught by surprise when GSP goes for the takedown.

I watched that Countdown on Spike. GSP has gone all out lately in his training. He has the best of the best training him. Freddie Roach said GSP will KO Kos with a left. I guess they have been training to watch out for Kos' right.
