Lupton car is pure time warp.1st owner kept it in a warehouse ,part of a collection, was jailed for fraud with zero miles on her,Bill Drever bought the car little use and then Lupton bought it,never gets driven, milage I'd say under 5,000ks.
no, thats why I have blocks supporting the wheels just to prevent the sagging effect suppose its no different to a car sitting on a two pst hoist for 3 years whilst getting a resto done
Hmmm, couldn't find the one on the bonnet frame but here's the one from the chrome trim on the door, which was on the drivers side in my case. Wish I hadn't pulled it off now as I didn't realise the chrome was lifting! Image Unavailable, Please Login
They are from that side for sure, the number is just bashed in with the punch. On the side you can see, they look fine. Image Unavailable, Please Login
No, I think Brett was the last one in it. he was dreaming! Initially I liked the wheel, now I don't, want to sell me yours?
Thanks Carl, your appreciation of such details is greatly admired by all of us. I might just go out and do a bit of train spotting today to cap off all this excitement! I am however a little disappointed that you didn't post a photo of the mythical bonnet frame build number...
