The only time I have been in one was at Sandown of all places. I must have been about 15 yrs old and I got a ride down the front straight in one. Funny how the Cafe set were the buyers in period. Hard to think of a worse car for it in terms of usability
Hard to imagine getting any enjoyment out of it under those conditions. The blue one on Carsales is at MM at the moment. Stunning little thing to look at.
Yes, there is/was a pearlescent white QV that was for sale last year and appeared at the Lambo Concours in the Docklands. Also a white 5000 'S' that I photographed at Sandown a few pages back.

maybe you could find employment at long last at $10 per hour as the cleaner. RP would be so proud of you.

I love Jaramas, there were 2 in Tony Mellino's workshop here on the Coast some years back .... and the occasional Miura SV would turn up
that's a late LP400S, with the raised roof & suspension. Best of them were the 53 1st series cars, initially known as LP4000S. These had the P7 tyres but retained the LP400 low body. LP400's can be civilised with modern cabin insulation and upgraded AC. Never get rid of the heavy gearbox or terrible visibility, but they all have that. Original shape is the best. Chassis is a work of art, much more modern design than contemporary Ferraris.
LP 400 series one with low roof and periscopica is the most pure design and the most collectible. I just can't see them being worth 4 to 5 times as much as the later cars. By most accounts the QV is the most usable proposition with the 5 ltr QV donk, 455 hp and tons of torque.
I'm not really a Lambo guy, but these are nice and by looking at it should drive well too. 4 repaints to finish before Xmas, apprentice at school, if you clean it for me I'll paint youre tyres for free. This may have been one of them, used to be yellow.
You know when Walter Matthau and Jack Lemon died I cried..........both men were superb in the "Grumpy Old Men" movies.........used to have me in stitches with laughter. Now I've got you BJ and PP......just waiting for the lines about Crabs from $2.00 dollar hookers and sisters........thank you to both of you, every day you two get me laughing! Now get homes next door to each other,ok! P
I can assure you they are not at all crap to drive. Unfortunately some countach's got into the wrong hands and have not been maintained. The 400 is pure and an absolute joy to drive. Why some people report crap driving is beyond me. perhaps my experience in ownership and driving of all variants from 400 to Anniversary must be shear luck.
