I felt really bad for the kid, especially since I think his roommate is in on it. Long story, but you get the idea. We've had several residential and vehicle burgs, too. 17 overnight on one block. They all left their doors unlocked. I'm level 16 on BSpec now. Nice to put on a race and do other stuff. My Stealth McLaren F1 can't win the British car races. Think it has too much power coupled with only being able to use comfort tires. Spins out constantly, so I'll be putting together a Lotus. Gotta take a break from driving every once in a while.
Unfortunately, I don't have any duplicates of anything worth any money right now.........if you wanted to hold out until you can get something of value, I'll understand.
Which race are you doing that is getting you this kind of cash? please inform as I would like to spend some time there as well.
im stuck...i cant pass the Historic Championship pre 1969. I cant find the Toyota 7 and my Chaparral isnt fast enough. OTOH, i bought an SLS, LFA, Mc MP12, ZR1, SLR and they are all great fun to drive.
I'm now in love with my NSX-R, did a few light mods and this thing is incredible. I'll post a few pictures later tonight.

Ok, I've about hit a wall on how far I can go in this game. I'm stuck on Level 19 Expert in A-Spec & cannot win at the damn historic races, the best I can place is 4 overall. I've tried the Ford Mark IV race car & the '74 Lamborghini Countach (with all mods) & can't place any higher. Also my B-spec driver can't seem to finish a race without spinning out or slowing down just before the end of a race. I even tried to take a break at the Sebastien Loeb rally challenge but even that has become incredibly frustrating, anyone have some ideas?
For the rally challenges, turn skid recovery on. It took probably 15 sec off my times. The cars feel more natural for me with it on for rallies anyway. I have beat everything to level 23 so far except for the Historic races. I'm building B Spec up to level 21 (I think) where you can get the Toyota 7 from the Like the Wind races. I also tried the Countach with no luck.
You need to teach you B spec driver with cars that dont have too much HP and also check his heat meter or he will spin no mater his level. The first 10 races will be a bore as you have to baby sit him but after that you can give him more powerful cars allowing him to win easily. What i did is that i paced him up only on the straights, then paced down in the corners until he was level 12 and up. When he is becoming too hot, you need to pace down several times to cool him otherwise he will spin. Im also stuck at level 19 as i dont have a car for Fly like the wind.
I am at that point as well. I borrowed a Chaparal, and that is too slow. I modded a Shelby Cobra to the max, and encountered the same issues, where he got up to as high as 3rd, and spun. I tried the Cobra in A-spec, and the thing is a pig to drive! Does anyone know when you gift a car to a friend, do all of the modifications done to the car go along as well?
It was like Christmas morning for him this morning!! Now he doesn't want to go to school!! He has to though, because Dad is off today and has dibs on the GT5! LOL! Thanks a bunch!
