Isnt that the one they still want BIG dollars for? Some pics were posted here a few months ago with the price tag attached.
Here's the direct link to the crowd selling it http://www.autocollections.com/index.cfm?id=3351&action=details&tab=inventory&cartable=&sortorder=car,year&sr=25 It's chassis #19877 and they're asking US$95K for it. Certainly looks like it was an Aussie wet sump car but appears to have had an air pump added and some other mods probably to comply with US emission regs. Seems odd that someone would go to the hassle of importing a RHD car to the US with all the associated mods that would have been required.
I figure that's about $130k landed and registered here. and then what? drive it and it's worth the same as the rest. don't drive it and it's a waste of $130k IMO You'd probably have to spend $10k+ to make it anything but a museum piece too. Wonder if it's got stainless steel valves? Of course, if it was blue it'd be worth every cent
Hardly;don,t fit, buggered back cos legs are bent,to hot,no go,no room for luggage/tools for carby runs, common as muck(so are some of the owners)not allowed to go on OHOS V12 runs. I can,t see why you,re so enthusiastic about them.
Yes true, actually I think the glass car Denis has at BSM went to/from the US previously? Hmm, dunno, take a look at yours and tell us! I thought it was just an ugly US thing? There's some other canister over to left also that looks odd, but maybe I'm just used to looking at my green house gas producing dry sump lump!
