    We look forward to it.

Meanwhile I am comfortable with what Ive established.

Sorry, but there are always more than one witness to these type of events. With Italian folklore, there are often many sides to the story, depending on who you are talking to, and sometimes depending on what hour of the day you are talking to them!

I agree with you as I've noticed already the italian folklore...

But as no one else was closer to Ferruccio than these 2 personnalities, exception of Teresa... I'm quite confident in what was recorded through 7 hours of interviews, considering that both provided me very close answers to 80% identical questions !

I would love to know if he ever mentioned to anyone ordering The Countach Turbo S. There must be records that would be a nice addition to a book I would purchase.

There are no such records because Ferruccio Lamborghini had nothing to do with any of the aftermarket Countach Turbos.

The only Countach Ferruccio Lamborghini had anything to do was LP400S S2 1121164, a normally-aspirated standard Countach which he purchased via Anibaldi & Santi at S.E.A. Automobili Rome, and had re-painted in white from its original red color. Its owned by Gino D today.

Forget about this dream... nothing about such a fantasy, it never happened.
Joe & Raymond already covered the subject... I confirm they are right !

Edmond CICLET was never official importer, even if he stamped some Lambos with his sticker.

When Thepenier told Edmond that he will stop importing Lamborghini for France, Thepenier offered Edmond to buy the "distribution licence". Edmond refused thinking when Thepenier will have stopped he will have not to pay & easy to take over the importation. Unfortunately, Edmond submitted a file in order to become official importer but it wasn't accepted by Ubaldo Sgarzi. The criterias where not matching even if CICLET had the skill for 11 years already.

At my last visit to factory, Ingrid Pussich showed me all the refused importer submission files.

Then, Edmond started his business without being official approuved importer.
Like many others shops worldwide, he bought the parts directly to "Ricambi Dpt" at factory, he also sold & delivered many new cars.

He claimed that he was official importer for his garage image & building reputation.
But it's not true, after Thepenier nobody was importing officialy Lamborghini to France for some years, the next one to meet criterias was JB Automobiles in the '80s.

My book is not yet released, it is planned for 2013 and the 50th Lamborghini Anniversary.
As I can afford, nobody will publish it. I'm financing the whole "think"... in order to keep my power of decision !

They are already some distribution channels interested by, as the major one might be Lamborghini Automobili SpA which offered me the licensing contract.

Right now, it is too early, allow me to continue to work on it !

He may have met Lamborghini's concessionaire criteria, but I'm not so sure he met the French Government's legal criteria..

    Allegedly.

Ahhh, excellent! I did just the same when I was young!

As far as I can remember, JB (Jacques Bolognini) Automobiles had two different locations:
    - one on the Avenue Kleber (16th arrondissement) where the small showroom was. It is where Joe's picture was taken.
    - one on the rue Paul Valery (16th arrondissement, near avenue Foch), where the workshop and parking lot was. It is where the haitian SVJ pictures were taken. It was packed with amazing cars.

I remember going to those places almost once a week in order to check for new arrivals. The second one was much more difficult to enter. I had once this opportunity and it was such a revelation! I remember every minute of it and it is where my passion started. I even had the chance to go in the SVJ, wow...

Thanks for reminding me such good times!

Yikes, these Europeans sure like to get close to the curb... the Blue S2 and the Red S2 on the previous page look like they're all but touching the curbs!

I wouldn't be surprised if that is the LP400s which got later the QV engine...
