    Couldn't believe my eyes today. Driving around Skokie when I saw a large exposed car hauler. Nothing worth much (old jags, BMWs, couple Chevys) until I noticed a red 355 Spider on the top covered in snow. No pic, but if I go by there tomorrow I'll be sure to take one.

    On 294 South at about 7am there was a Presidential limo?? It was a Cadillac limo (looked armored), with presidential seals on the front fenders. Also when I got in front of it, I saw the emergency lights in the front grille. The vehicle had Illinois plates as well. I saw it the whole time I was on the highway from about Roosevelt until I got off at 95th.

    Silver 300SL (early 60s) in Lake Forest today,a regularly used "driver" (looked used, not a typical,better then new,$600k museum piece).
    Of course I did forget my iphone....

    Not sure what caught your eye? (besides my shoddy phone pic). I know when this 288 was at a show with several others some slight differences were noted between various cars, and they related back to the federalization process.

    I am 99.999999% sure this car is legit. I have seen the resident 288 expert comment on this car in the past.

    10 minutes ago, I was coming home from school. I sat shotgun and I saw a...
    FERRARI CALIFORNIA DRIVE BY! Wow! It was turning right onto dempster st. from crawford going to go east. Wow! Shouldn't that be in storage for winter? And what was it doing in Skokie? I see a lot of nice cars there sometimes, but never in winter! weird.
