    Thanks!

Like brand new. Everything works as new. Over the year's I've replaced belts, hoses, flushed fluids, etc. to keep it in great shape.

    Only Changes/upgrades from original are:
    1. Holley 650 doublepumper.
    2. Edelbrock Performer Intake
    3. Mallory Unilight Distributor with MSD-6A Ignition control and MSD Blaster Coil, MSD Sparkplug Wires.
    4. Ford Motorsport Air-cleaner
    5. DeTomaso Cast Aluminum Valvecovers.
    6. Upgraded twin pusher radiator fans w/shroud.
    7. Pantera Performance chin spoiler.

I've still got all the original parts for it down to the original sparkplugs. :)

The car runs like a dream, no problems with overheating, zero rust, she's a keeper. :)

Hey Fchatters, just did a Pantera article for Hagerty, the insurance magnates.

It published today. If you CAN say something favorable about it, please post it on their comments.

If you only want to tell me I'm a ding-dong, just reply here on Fchat.

    Anyway, here's the article...

Well done Adams, nice article, captures the magic of the Pantera well and puts its shortcomings into proper perspective........now you need that GT to complete the garage.

    You're welcome!

    Thanks Mang.

Yeah I know. You're a bad influence! Have you hit your head on the doors yet? Be honest!

I think I said that American V8s in Euro bodies were the original 'hybrid' concept (half attempt at a joke) not Panteras. But no matter.

    You're welcome; thanks for reading.

Hope you Pantera fans have (or will) put a positve comment on the Hagerty site, right under the article.

LOL, no Adams, I have not hit my head off the door, but a few friends have done so.
The GT is at Revolve Engineering in the UK now, having a few performance upgrades done, and I also bought a full exhaust system from Stainless Works in Ohio, I cant wait to hear it. It will give the Pantera some competition now for favourite sound.

Is that because you've never exited?

You just can't leave well enough alone can you?!? I know that'll sound unreal. One of these days...

Didn't Lambo take inspiration from the Pantera for the wide body look? The Group 4 and GTS models had the wide flares before the Countach even existed. Both are legendary cars in their own right.

Great thread and pictures! More please!

I think so, and the reaction it got whenever I drove my brother's Pantera tells me that I am right.

PURR GOLD....that particular car went so cheap at auction last year, wish I was there with cash :(

...and although an amazing shape, it is Detomaso's 2nd best! :D Mangusta and Pantera = TWO great shapes!
