Understand Joe,here´s my Mail Adress,so that we all do not have to discuss in a public forum. [email protected]
Riccardo: I have responded to your e-mail. You have contacted me multiple times before, and I have invited your contact, only to recieve none. I am always available to help, if you are on a serious mission to locate a particular LP400. Its what I do.. Very Best, Joe
Mr Sackey with your knowledge of the lp400 you stated that there are 4 here in the us, so about how many were made yellow from the factory around the world in total?
Well thinks for the quick reply, lambocars says 150 lp400's were produced so I don't imagine to many were yellow my guess would be between 7-15 but I really don't think 10% of there production were yellow but I definitely could be wrong. But they sure do look good in yellow. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Well I did... 20x LP400 were factory delivery in Fly Giallo : 2, 40, 48, 62, 80, 82, 98, 102, 146, 192, 204, 216, 224, 226, 234, 236, 252, 254, 264, 270
So your saying at least 20 lp400's were made yellow wow now these are all lp400 and not lp400s right.
Well thinks thats a few more yellow lp400's than I figured they made but hey theres nothing wrong with a few more yellow lp400's
I couldn't find any photos of a yellow 5000s but I did find pictures of the other models and I really think the lp400 wears yellow the best. The anni isn't bad either. Hell all countach's look good in yellow. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Well, something isn't adding up for me here, because the whole topic came up with 052, which is a yellow car. So either 052 was painted yellow from its original color (not yellow according to the list shown by Olivier), or Olivier's list is wrong.

Here's a video of a yellow LP400s racing a Miura SV, 3 Ferraris, a Lotus, a Porsche and a Pantera. http://www.megavideo.com/?d=DCWX65HH
I'm also pointing the difference in between the 2 questions asked : * about "papa's LP400 yellow", not confirmed as being originally painted yellow, so any car would answer to that if it's yellow now. * and the specific question about how many factory configured LP400 in yellow. even if english is not my motherlanguage I can make the difference !
on this matter: there are few LP400S originally painted yellow the reason ? ...well there are many colors that go much better than yellow on the S cars i can think about (black, white, silver, blue ...)
Do you have a list of the other LP400 aswell? Would be nice to see how many that was painted in which colour. And congrats to your Miura! Lars-Erik
Emilio, why do you say few... when there is only one LP400S originally produced in "giallo fly" #1121122...
the pink paint and the painful rear bumper are by far the worst things done to a countach! (maybe except crashing one)..
