I'm really frustrated with the fact that so many of the prize cars are ones that I just don't care to have and to make it even more annoying, you can't sell half of them! So now I have a bunch of b-spec prize cars cluttering up my garage that I don't want but can't bring myself to ditch incase one of my friends wants them at some point. Augh. I'd really be happier if I could sell them and use the credits towards something I do want, like the McLaren F1 that took me forever to save up for.

Sounds like I should just sell the Ford Lightning though as it doesn't appear to be doing its job.

I totally agree with you. You should definitely be able to sell your prize cars instead to just discarding them. I highly doubt that anyone will need most of them because soon or later we're all going to have the same prize cars cluttering our garages.

On a side note, I really wish that there was a Gran Turismo for the American market. Not so much about the American cars but rather the cars available in our market. I have never even heard of or even have a use for half of the cars in GT. Grant it that prior to GT the Lancer and Skyline were unheard of over here and are now one of the most iconic and over represented cars in the game.

That's a good point. I think I'm going to just purge my garage when I get home. No point it keeping them around.

Very true. I cleaned my garage for the most part.

    My current collection:

    Acura NSX
    Lamborghini Countach
    Lamborghini Countach anniversary edition
    Lotus Elise
    Ferrari Scuderia
    Ferrari California
The birthday gift of the Miura failed: The car disappeared in the transaction. :(

And about 200k, saving up for the Gallardo.

...hmm. Maybe I should be posting on Lamborghinichat. ;)

I have had the game now for over a week and I am loving it. Got all my licenses and have modded up most of my cars. The gameplay is amazing...I really wish they had a few more cars under some manufacturers, in some areas they are a bit bare. Overall its great.

Just wish I could get a few million credits to buy all of them at once and pimp my garage!

    What a game.

I bought a Gallardo a few days ago for the Trofeo Gallardo race. I absolutely love that car.

My earning just surpassed 1.1M last night so I treated myself to a 458 Italia. I haven't had a chance to race it but I did do a few practice laps around Monza last night. Nice car!

I like the fact that money doesn't really come that easily in GT5. I like working for my $$$ and think about what I want to spend it on.

Agreed, but it sucked having to spend $500k on getting the P4's engine rebuilt so I could win the historic races in b-spec. Only gained 24hp but it was enough to make the difference. That took a HUGE bite out of my savings for the next investment... a Peugeot 908 HDi FAP!

I completely agree about the exorbitant costs of engine maintenance and chassis restore charges. PD should implement a 3 year/ 30K miles warranty covering all charges on new purchases. lol ;)

But, of course the P4 wouldn't be covered because it is a 40 year old car. :(

What level is your B-spec driver at and what type of personality does he have?

I try keeping the drivers temper at or near the midway mark on his personality meter.

i think that I won this race with my Furai.

I moved up to level 20 now but don't have LM racer yet, the Ford MK IV I was gifted from 4REphotographer (thanks!) but needed something much faster, still can't beat the Historic Series but did place 2nd, just have to keep adjusting the gears & tweaking the handling. I opted instead to buy a '09 ZR1 & "race modify" it. It's about 825hp+ w/ supercharger & a fast car but it's the only way I can beat out the Le Mans class. Still working on the suspension setup though, if anyone has any tips let me know.
