Ahhh, no, not me....., my sweet wife....72 in a 55 in Mt. Vernon. She is paranoid about the possible effect on her insurance, so wants me to "do something". Tried a search, and oddly did not find any thread with 'Jeannie Mucklestone'...any reference for a phone number or an alternative?
    TIA,
    James

What insurance do you have? I really don't think a single ticket in 21 years is going to
be a mark on your insurance. If you have State Farm, I can absolutely say it won't.
I was told I could even have 1 accident and up to 5 tickets in one year and not have
an increase with SF because I've had none of the above for 15 years myself.

Just call your insurance company and ask them. I'll bet they'll say "not to worry".

    Good luck :)

Depends who your insurance is I suppose? I've been with Pemco for 18 years and when my wife got her first 2 years ago she was scared too. I have a local rep and when I called her with my "hypethetical" question she said just relax. Nothing happened. I sure enjoyed holding it ove her head for a few days though :)

If you get a deferral, it doesn't get reported to insurance company. Cheapest route.

If you don't want to use your "get out of jail free" card just yet, then Jeannie, Jag, Mitch or John Eltringham are all good options.

+1 Basically its a one year probation. But if you get another ticket in that year it automatically re-appears.

I got a "deferral" but still had to pay the fine. No affect on insurance and the fine was manageable..

I recommend Jeannie. She helped me with a speeding ticket.
