Localized "global" warming due to all the F-cars ;)

And yes, pretty much every day that wasn't icy. I'll try to document the repairs a bit.

How can you tell it's a 2nd gen 997? rear tail lights I guess? I'm a little lost on the front facias right now, seems they have a dozen different ones.

Tailights is deff the easiest way to define a 997.1 to 997.2...;)

997.1...The two options Semi Clear and Full Red

997.2...Semi clear, Full clear on most models and Semi clear, Full clear with Red Strip only on C4, C4 Cab, C4S, C4S Cab Targa 4, Targa 4S)...(PS the Red Strip skipped from the 996 generation to the 997.2)

...If i had to spec a 997.2 out it would be a C4S Cab with FULL CLEAR tailights...so sexy!!!

And now they're back to those wheels as an optional extra. I still want a GT3, I just can't stand the cheap silvery plastic in them :(

Pics of the repairs would be cool! Any repairs due to the V10? I think you said there was an oil leak..

They noticed the front seal was leaking when they had it on the lift. I never had oil on the floor but the insurance might give me a hard time since it's hard to prove. A clutch line was pinched and the back of the gearbox was scraped. The estimate shows they're going to "repair" that instead of replacing it. Not sure how they'll do that.

May just be the angle of the shot and the use of flash that gives off a diff look.

The folks at Audi prestige have been great. I have no concerns that anything I'm not happy with will be rectified. Scotti is going through the parts shipment now to see what's there and the guys at Audi should get the parts this week. The oil leak and transmission casing (just the back cover) shouldnt cost more than a couple hundred each to repair/replace so it shouldn't be too big of a struggle with the insurance. Biggest worry for me is wait times for additional parts. I'll feel a lot better in a few days once I know the work has started...

I think that Reventon-like "M" front bumper destroys the look of that truck.

Shame. I'll check up on that one since I visit the bodyshop there twice a week :)

Was there this morning. Not only has scotti not yet sent the parts over but now they're saying they only have about 1/4 of them and not enough to get started on anything. To add insult they won't do anything for the next 2 weeks.

They told me they could get the parts in 3-4 days so we didn't order from the states... It's been almost 10 weeks :(

I hope you asked 2 turbos for christmas. :)

I found this on the internet. It's Lachute performance who worked on this little project recently. They replaced the 2 GT35 turbos by 2 new ones. They re-did the exhaust piping and intercooler to accommodate the new turbos, they replaced fuel et wasteguate lines for material more resistant to heat, re did wiring for programmable computer, tuning.
