U've gotten a very good deal on the red Gt2. Is it an 08 car? That's an answer I'd like to hear too. I remember my Gallardo had $262K while the Murcie was something like $378K but all these are quite sad when the 'refund' is only 50% now Now we have another $7k to write-off per year for COE

That would be a very good price. The import tax+car price alone is already $705, add on COE, road tax, GST etc, the cost come to late $700k. Not much margin for the dealer.
Think it should cool off a little, at least. My dad said BMW and Merc are largely responsible for the high prices as they are fighting for top place in luxury sales before the year ends so they're trying to get more cars registered in this last window.

Tis COE thingy certainly sounds like a day light robbering from the govt huh....Is SG the only nation with this concept?!?! Well, the govt rolls over us like that sugar cane machine Well, "at least" we're not taxed 200% & COE is something similar to the AP of Malaysia where it's given, free to the privileged Bumis who'll auction away.... but what I do like about MY is there's no ten-years COE renewal so your car can last longer than you ever live, no annual inspection, rd tax reduction on classics & you can upgrade the engine legally Malaysia boleh! Problem is, re-sale of special cars is terrible there so might as well just keep it

Derek raced about in his bud's Kreissieg 612 yesterday, with me as his captive audience! Yeah...the exhaust brings a wide smile every time he guns it. Inbetween pulling it hard, it snaps, cackles and pops on the overruns..and gurgles too. It's really like an F1 sound. I wish the tone was a deeper, harder edge. Let me decide if it suits the image I want for my 599. Much much nicer than the Larini I sampled. And Tubi also. My driving license is going to be at much bigger risk if I put in on!
