    any idea's why my heater will not get hot? 1999 f355. any info would help,

    You know that little round button that says "STOP"??

    make sure it is in the up (off) position.

    May not be relevant to your car but I just had some sort of actuator replaced on my f430. AC worked in summer but no heat. I had tried every possible button combo after reading the posts. There is an electronic part that can fail to turn a valve and shunt heat from the engine. It was a 30 min fix once the part was in. Hopefully the previous post helped.

    Welcome to Ferrari!

    My car has what I call 55mph heat.

    If you drive at 55mph, about an hour later the heater will start to work.

    thanks for the advice, I'll try the Stop button, as for the guy who wrote about driving 55, I tried that and it did not work.

    Check coolant level. If coolant is low it will not flow through heater core. Also heater core may be air bound and need bleeding. Also heater control valves may not be working.

    Post this in technical section and other may be able to help.

    I have Checked the coolant level, it's all good.

    Heater in a 355 should produce heat within 5 minutes of startup. Definitely don't need to wait any inordinate amount of time.

    If your a/c is working fine during the warmer months, may be due to heater core issues as stated above. Otherwise, may be more like the HVAC ecu, or the hidden fuse, which are both located in the front trunk under (behind) the passenger side removable liner/shroud. To check these, you need to peel back the weatherstripping and remove a few screws first.
