chocolate and beer - no way!

but my wife likes hot drinking chocolate with the cicar (she sometimes shared the smoke with me) while i always prefered single malt scotch or a fine grappa.

cigars and red wine does not work for me - the cigar flavour is too strong and kills the fine taste of a good wine.

I had a lovely Fuente yesterday at the cigar club. Also a lovely one in Atlanta at NYP with my cousin. Always a good time. Miss the girls though!

I have no idea how anyone could tell with that small a photo, unless what you said it was was never made.

Yeah im not sure if its real or not...im curious too. I got it as a gift a long time ago. I'll take a closer pic of it when I get home. I took the gift at face value that its real..but hey, im wrong several times a day

I do know the cigars i buy are real. I didnt buy this one.

 

There are multiple things wrong with the RyJ. First there are no handmade cuban cigars made after 1989 that will have cellophane. So that is the first issue. Second it does not have the second band. Third is that the actual romeo y julieta band doesnt look right.

 

I second that emotion.

I'm really enjoying a Dominican Cohiba Red Dot Crystal Corona right now that I got in my CI order Wednesday. A nice quick smoke. Definitely a girlfriend, not a wife.

I almost swore off cigars after buying a handful of Gurkhas and making myself finish them all off as punishment for being careless in buying so many of an untasted brand.

By the way, Gurkha is Nepalise for "That which is soaked in the urine of one thousand Yaks."

Smoked a great Boris 11 tonite.

 

I got boxes Cohiba Red Dots, Arturo Fuente's, Rocky Patels, Oliva series Vs and and ten Camacho Liberty 2010s for my Birthday and Chirtmas.

That should last through January. LOL

I had a Cohiba Crystal Corona with my Illy espresso this morning, an Oliva Series V Torpedo and Elijah Craig 18 year old Bourbon with my neighbor after lunch, and I'm just now lighting an Arturo Fuente, Fuente King for my after dinner smoke.

Three a day!!

 

haha - fair enough. I'll take it out for New Year eve...see how it goes. I'll bring some San Cristobals (my favourite cubans) as backup.

I'm a Fuente man myself. After the Opus X, it's tough finding anything worth that money.

I was at the Las Vegas Casa Fuente at the Forum Shops. I picked up a box of Opus X. Paying retail sucks. The Cigars are awesome. There are a lot of great cigars out there.

They do. The crap of it is there is a lot of stuff there you just cant get anywhere else. I *****ed to Carlos, Jr., about it and he said it was part of their contract.
