Dont give up on America....dont come to Singapore.

Being able to afford a car is one thing, but dont forget the whole lifestyle experience that goes with it.

    1) you need a safe place to house it (pvt apartment > 3 mil Singapore Dollars)
    2) you need nice cloths to go with the car (no brooks brothers or Hugo Boss)
    3) expenses that go with running with the car
    4) asscessories to go with that lifestyle, watches, Vertus, country club membership etc
    5) unwanted attention from people living in Malaysia (Johor) trying to sell you things you dont really need.
    6) People that are nice to you that may not be friends
    7) Road tax and insurance, ERP, parking tickets, vandalism, theft, robbery, male rape

    more and more

Unless you want your kids taking out a hefty loan on a GT2 or a Scud and living with you till they have white hair, things look pretty good in America.

    50% on Retail, not cost.

With the logistics, middleman profits and +++, they are about 2.5 times the cost of United States.

    F458 is 750k
997 Carrera GTS is about 300k

    All in USD.

Yeah, agreed, harder to achieve those dreams in SG as compared to Malaysia I guess. Malaysia, if got connection, everything also can! :D

Especially if your skin is a certain colour, you get alot of freebies in life!

You're probably right but if one drives an exoticar, one should be even more conscious of how one behaves. I think one owes it to the other exoticar owners. I can't even begin to understand how anyone, F-car owner or not, can think it is ok to do what he did. What's going on through this person's mind? Is it:

    1. "I drive an F-car, so I can do whatever the hell I like"; or
    2. "I pay lots more taxes than everyone else in this car park, whether on income or on the car, and the others owe me at least this"; or
    3. "My car is a lot more precious than yours and a ding or scratch will cost 10X more to repair than compared to your dinged or scratched Protons and therefore you should understand ..."; or
    4. "Ahh, feck you lot ... the reason why I'm so successful and am therefore able to buy this car is because I am so brilliant and decisive, and I am not going to let the small matter of parking to slow me down in whatever I am doing. So, feck hunting around for a nice, safe and big lot, or even a proper lot, I just seize the day and do what I wanna do and where I wanna do it. That is why I am the Master of the Universe and am therefore able to buy this car!"

So why hasn't anyone Stomped all the selfish idiots that stop/drop off/pick up outside Orchard Cineleisure causing traffic jams along both Orchard & Cairnhill Roads? Every weekend the traffic gets backed up because of this, but Stomp seems more concerned with people eating on MRT's or red trouser wearing Ferrari drivers. Rant Over :)
