Well 2010 is nearly over and I 'd like to know: What was the best ride you had in 2010? My best one was with a friend who owns a Countach LP400S. Our two cars definitely caused a lot of attention! We got many thumbs up from bikers and some drivers obviously had troubles to get their focus back on the street - you could tell if their vehicles started to veer from course. But the highlight was when we all of a sudden were followed by a Maserati Khamsin! It turned out that the owner saw us and decided he wanted to get to know us - jumped in his car, chased us and at the next stop we had a very nice get together of special cars & owners. Considering the amount of cars produced of each type the probability of them to meet by chance and on the road is ... 1 to somethingwithmanyzeros. Pics: 1) This is me being followed by a Lamo and a Khamsin. 2) the Countach 3) the Khamsin 4) the Spider 5) Khamsin cockpit I'm anxious to hear about your best ride 2010 and wish you a great 2011! The DFC MidSummer Rally I went out with my car club for an early morning, mid july run from NJ to CT. About 30+ Exotics on a very nice cruise that got a little spirited at times... However... we started to draw a little too much attention and the CT State Police put an end to our fun by closing down the highway on us. They eventually let us all go..... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S9NLUOcbArY Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
My first ever Ferrari ride... in a 348 no less! Model Specific Discussions > 348/355 > "My first ever Ferrari ride - Sy's Ferrari 348!" I also got to pose in the driver's seat for some photos, which I've got in there. All the best, Andrew.
For me it was the 348/355 SoCal Get Together. Great people, great cars! It was cool exiting PCH and seeing/joining 3 348's. Also leaving the garage was cool even though I was one of the first cars out. We gotta get together again sometime soon....
348/355 GTG definitely up there, but the highlight had to be the Fall Pauper's run in Vegas. 25+ cars screamin' thru the desert!
Well my best ride for sure had to be end of August when 85 exotics got together for a once in a lifetime experience balls to the wall fast as you can go legal run on Canada's longest military runway 4km long. It was Surreal from beginning to end. On the way home from the event my avatar picture happened very proud of that Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Probably when my friend Gerry and I (and his kids) went for a drive in the outback around 2 months ago. Was a wonderful afternoon that day. Perfect weather, beautiful straight roads and great company! Here are pics from 2 months ago. *Gerry and I went crusing again yesterday afternoon. * http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showpost.php?p=140171761&postcount=17 Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
My best driving experience of 2010 was when a Fellow Ferrarista and myself switched cars for a very aggressive drive. I was driving his Scuderia and he drove my Barchetta..............those engines were sure singing in harmony. My V12 has an X-Pipe with Tubis and is very loud combined with the shrieking sound of the Scud.
Here's my best ride of 2010 when my daughter pulled the car out of my garage but was reluctant to let me jump in the drivers seat in the first picture. She had to be escorted out in the second pic by my wife with the sad look on her face. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
