Now that Michelin no longer makes the original equipment Pilot Sports.........for mostly dry sunny driving conditions and only occassional track use (Florida)........what tires do you like best? It appears that there are 2 OE choices: Bridestone SO2 or Pirelli Assimetrico and several others...........Love to hear what everyone thinks..........

For as hard as I drove the car the Hankook's worked swell for me. I think they were only something like $800 installed as well. (19" 430 wheels)

I'm sure some would abhor putting Hankooks on a Ferrari but you'll find more than a few happy customers here with them installed.

Admittedly though if you're going to be tracking the car even a little bit there are much better options.

I use Pirelli's but the start out in the morning like squares, once the warm up they are fine. The wear is pretty fast also. I have never had a car with Bridgestones I liked.. So I guess I will stick to Pirellis.

There are several others available Hankook, Falken, Nitto, etc, but I just didn't feel right putting them on the 360.

Tire Rack currently has a few choices (this was for a 02' 360).
    http://www.tirerack.com/tires/TireSearchResults.jsp?tireIndex=0&autoMake=Ferrari&autoYear=2002&autoModel=360+Modena&autoModClar=&frontWidth=215/&frontRatio=45&frontDiameter=18&frontSortCode=53450&rearWidth=275/&rearRatio=40&rearDiameter=18&rearSortCode=54450&tab=All

When I had the 01' 360, it was with the SO2's and I thought they were a decent tire. Steering feedback felt not too bad at all, and for street driving (even quite "spirited" in the mountain areas) were just fine. I did like that they would evenly move/shift with no oversteer.........and had a small amount of reporting back (sound) when you were reaching their limits.

On that list I'd go with the Bridgestone RE-11. I've driven a lot on their predecessor the RE-01R and they are a fantastic tire. Their only fault is that they are heavier than most tires but the sheer grip more than makes up for it in my opinion.

Not sure that TireRack had the PS2s for the regular 360....... possibly for the CS's 19s though. I only looked by make and model, not by specific size...... the OP can do that also.

Have Bridgestone on mine and they are great...not quite as quiet at the Pirelli but they grip hard and have lasted a lot longer than my Pirelli's did.

I had the S02A's on my 360 and liked them very much. There weren't really too many choices with the odd OEM 360 sizing.

Pirelli P-Zero Rosso's on 19" wheels. I have a wide tire in the rear 355/25/19 so I feel everything but I love the tires, they are a bit hard when cold, work great when I put some miles on them.

I also have 355/25/19s on the rear of my 02 360. Pirelli P-zeros were the only tire I could find at that size. I think they were $550 per tire.

Bridgestone RE-11. Terrific tire. Loads of grip, predictable break-away, reasonable ride and low noise.

I have Potenza S-02A tires on my 360F1 and quite satisfied with those.

SO2A or RE 11? I have stock rims so these appear to be the sized favorites. RE11's don't appear to be "Z" rated however, should that be a concern? Also as my car is stock ( no mods) will it have more appeal with an OE tire if I ever decided to trade up?
