info on 86 countach orange from ocean city,md

i am looking into buying this car this week. anyone know anything about it ?

 

Non original color, exhaust has been changed to a muffler shop special. I'm sure you know that though.

 

Did you purchase that Countach from Maryland?

I see that car all the time always thought it was a kit by the paint and the exhaust. I never stopped to look it over. Its always parked in front of a local beer store over by my beach house.

 

I went to the site mentioned here on Ferrari-chat cars for sale ,pulled up the link but couldn`t view the photos for some reason ,I`d like to see it too.

 

i am waiting on a issue with the miles to get resolved with carfax and a correction that was done with the seller. it was recorded by mistake with 412000 miles instead of 4100 miles ... or something like that ... they corrected the title but not the carfax yet. and yes, i am going to buy it ....

 

are you the one that contacted the owner to buy the car ! after i posted asking for info on the car...? 2 people contacted him.... i can see you are one of them looking to buy it as well ! or am i making a mistake....

I didn't even know that they were made in Orange from the factory in 1986. I have seen some of the earlier 400 cars etc in Orange. Does it sport the gold wheels?

,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,it states in the ad that is repainted in a custom pearl color, and that the shop that painted it will repaint it back to original for extra money,if you click on the link under the ferrari-ads you can see it.

 

If you search the Countach thread, I think Joe posted a picture of it when I asked if any post lp400 were painted orange. I think the photo was taken while on displayed at a car show.

Do not have them repaint for extra money. YOU handle that yourself with Degroot or Evans if you are in the MD area.
