I have a one owner F40 with 14k on the clock and at 10k had the $30k service done. Anyone have any idea what the market value of this car would be if I get motivated to let it go? Thanks!

It may be extremely valuable as you may have the only F40 that's produced in 2000....

Just kidding! Lol, I expected a lot more remarks.. It's a 1990 model and I have owned it for about the last 6 months and I am looking to sell it to make room for a new edition to my garage. Thanks

Pardon the skepticism but there have been past examples of posters making similar type of claims of ownership of the rarer cars like the F40.

Do you have the serial number or a nice recent pic to post?

You might find Fchatters helpful if they know they are not wasting their time.

As the old saying goes first used by Nixon, then Reagan .... trust but verify.

I hate to judge without the facts in front of me but I smell a troll.

Anyone selling an F40 would at the very least supply a serial number. Location and pictures would be nice too.
There are not that many F40's and there is a wealth of knowledge on this forum about each and every one.

Also the OP's remark about another "edition" means another F40 or does he mean something else altogether?

Hopefully he will prove me wrong and post some meaningful data.

english isn't my first language so i simply read edition as addition to his garage.

btw. i agree with you, something smells fishy. why would you make silly jokes if you want serious answers... ?

Strange opening post to say the least. Surely an potential seller looks around at what other examples are advertised at.

Looks like he hasn't come back yet. It's all probably a bunch of nonsense. It would have been incredible to see a 2000 F40, damn! :)

I am going to look at a 1989 F40 at our ferrari dealer. It has 7200 miles and he quoted me a price of $400k. He said the car is clean and just had the service done.

I do not know if that is a good price or expensive. The car is coming out of state and should be at the dealer this week or the next.

I have been in a F40 with a freind but have never driven one so I do not know what to expect. I currently have a 458 Ferrari.

    No sign of the troll?
When you look carefully you see the signs in his own words.
He has owned the car for 6 months. It currently has 14,000 miles and he had the 30K service done at 10,000 miles. I guess he is one of the rare owners who uses his F40 as a daily driver, as he has put at least 4,000 miles on it since its service. All in the 6 months he has owned the car. It somehow seems improbable.

Well, 4 posts total, two of them are the same thing posted twice (so that's 3 real posts) all in 14 months of membership...
    An F40 owner?...
    I doubt it
(Burago 1/12 here) cause I know if i owned the real thing I'd be proudly shouting it from the rooftops (well posting pictures and stuff!)
