Now that you mention it..Somewhere in my records and videos, I have a professionally made video of Franz Wieth (of Wieth Racing in Munich Germany) driving one of his two 288 GTOs on the Hungaroring back in 1989 during a Munich Dealer trip there. Bad news is once I find it, assuming it is still watchable, is that it is in PAL B/G format. Well, it is a video none the less.
If memory serves me I believe I had requested an autographed early addition way back when Joe, please don't forget ok!! Best, Gregg
No worries, the books are distributed thru Veloce & Amazon (I dont have anything to do with distribution) so I often get sent books to be signed & returned via Fedex etc and I'm always happy to accommodate. http://www.joesackey.com/TheLamborghiniMiuraBible/

I've heard rumors that a famous local here in Nebraska had a yellow 288 in the early 90s. I cannot verify it. Maybe he just had it painted yellow. There is a red 288 here most people don't know about, but not the same guy.
Is that true Joe? I'm still looking for a good book on the Countach. I have the Art & Car edition of the Diablo by Lewandowski but never saw anything like that about the Countach. Natan
Finally the Market is waking up to the greatness of the Countach... I still regret selling mine and prices are rising...contrary to what most people think I rate it as one of the greatest drives of my life
so true! looking at recent classic and sport cars and octane looks to me stereotypes on countach are "finally" going to die
SO True. A well-sorted one is incredible. A poorly tuned one is a dog's breakfast. Stick to the 4-liter cars. Light & fun.

Thats putting it lightly Joe! My true mistress is the 288 GTO, she never ages nor do her lines fail too please. I need a moment alone ok while I hug my monitor lol!
