Just would like to thank Full for his glass of 348 slow post .
I just completed my driver and passenger relays and I had over a 200% increase in motor speed in going up and over a 125% increase in going down. Here is the post. http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=304893&highlight=glass+348+slow

The Relay I used is a 4 pin HEAVY DUTY SPDT 40 AMP 12V Automotive Relay.
They are $1.99 each at ebay.
Below is a before and after motor speed, and a how to.

    Thank's again Full

I think I might give this a shot. There will be some slight differences in how I will set it up, but I will report back with my results.

I bought a set of these Ricambi units for my 355 and they didnt work. I believe the wiring is different pre 355's. The problem with the 348 and earlier models is that the earth cable was too small to carry the electrical load the window motors required to over come friction when they get a bit stiff from wear and tear. This relay system earths the motors directly to the door frame allowing the electrical current to flow better to the motors. I believe the 355 uses a control module located under the dash to feed power to the window motors so the switches on the doors only send a signal to this module instructing it to power the windows up and down. When I contected one of these window relay system to my 355 it didnt like it at all. Please note that the relays used are not the standard type bought from your local auto store. The ones used are a special hella ones that also has a type of circut protection built in. I tracked them down and they were about $30 each from Germany.

If anyone wants to purchase the set I have send us a PM.

    FYI

The Hella relay part numbers are
    German P/N 4RD 003 520-25
    USA P/N HL 87424

They are a 5 pin Change Over Relay with a built in diode. The diode is what makes them different from your standard off the self relays.

I would play it safe and use the Hella P/N 4RD 003 520-25 relay just in case there is a reason why this relay is used rather than a standard one.

Guys I just found this info after some searching...

Is there any update on wiring for the F355?

Also does this work in the cases where the windows get stuck 3/4 of the way up to the top? Or could there be other issues?

    Thank you.

Just did the relay setup on my 348ts, works great. The biggest problem I found wasn't the relays though, there was rust inside the passenger side window motor. It was so slow, took like 30 sec to roll it down and it wouldn't even roll all the way up. after cleaning it up, it was much faster both ways. After adding the relay setup, it goes up or down in about 5 seconds! Very pleased with this. Cost: 4x relays off ebay with connectors $5.00 each including shipping, total $20.00! Very pleased with the results. Love this forum..

Oh, also cleaned and greased all the components on the window mechanism. It was very sticky.
