I'm looking to get one in the next few days (or not). I'm feeling a bit like this is an impulse buy because I was looking for a 575 for the past 45 days or so and then happened to see a CS at a dealer on Monday and...well...now I want one. So, in total I've driven one for a 2-mile test drive (lame, I know) and stared at it for maybe 30 minutes...

Anyone in Scottsdale have one and is around to show it off and chat about it in the next few days? I won't ask to drive it! I do want to understand what owning it is like, what kinda usage you get out of it. Have you tracked it. Is it comfy enough to take on errands or...ya know, i just wanna learn on your experience!

I seem to recall seeing a bunch of these around at C&C...

Ingenere's is the prettiest one I've seen. I love it without the stripes as, unless you know what you're looking at, it looks like a "regular" 360 ( as if that could ever get old hat)

That car sounds perfect, and likely a good candidate for a "collection".

But I'm looking for a "driver" and accordingly am paying $50k less than DM1's car...

It is pretty special...I really love the leather interior (much more than the two-tone red/black alcantara in the one I'm trying to purchase).

Ingenere's car sounds WICKED. Loud! I didn't think I would ever think of an F-car as too loud for me...but that one comes close! Of course, assuming I get the one I'm after, I may want to do some of those exhaust mods too ;-)

yes, that was really the decision that finally convinced me that getting a CS was the right move for me (rather than a 550/575 or 430). I really wanted to have a GT and a Convertible in the mix and the maser fills both of those nicely. The raw CS as a weekend backroad and maybe occasional track car along side a GT Convertible daily driver sounded about right to me...

Now I gotta wait for the PPI and then paperwork and then shipping to Scottsdale...well, its gonna be a while before I actually have the CS here...

Forget shipping. Fly yourself where it's located and drive it!

Or better yet...fly me out, and I'll personally deliver it to your front door ;):D

Once you spend a little time with it.... it really is very livable. A full day at 8500 rpm at the track has left me with some tinnitus, but for everyday it's not that loud. The performance gains between the exhaust and ECU work, more than make up for the volume. There is a video of blast up a mountain road here. Turn the volume up! :D www.veloceperformance.com

Dino, do you have an different exhaust on your car than stock? I don't think I've really heard the car at high RPMs.

You really do need to hear it at the higher RPMs. I enjoyed the wonderful sound on the drive up to Payson, and it was great.

It has a complete, header back system. The headers are an absolute work of art.

At higher RPM it is totally F1! I love it.
